This is a great family game. The Simpson version really cracks my daughter up, and my husband and I have fun playing it with her. It's a good game for kids for learning to be steady and to increase hand-eye coordination. Homer says some funny "Homer-ess" kinds of comments. Definitely a hit with kids.

Cheater Card Game

Cheater is a rummy-style game where players have to be the first one to spell in "Cheater" in one "suit." I agree with the reviewer who complained about the color cards. The color is the suit, and the four colors are peculiar choices -- red, yellow, blue and purple. There is an additional aspect to the game: if you roll the dice and get doubles, you get to be the Cheater. The cheater had extra powers, like being able to pull two cards from the deck instead of one during a turn, which other players can't do.

Late for the Sky Ocean-Opoly

This game is an adorable version of Monopoly, my high school students race each other to class to claim it. Fun for the day before a holiday or the last day of school, the only thing I would like is to see more trivia facts about the ocean creatures, to make it more educational. But regardless, it has been a hit in my class and I think I need several more copies of the game so everyone gets a turn.

Duck Duck Bruce

We got this card game for my daughter for Christmas and she LOVES it. She is 7 years old and really enjoys playing it. The games go very fast, and you can play as many rounds as you want, so it's a perfect "filler" when you have a few minutes to spare in a waiting room or while dinner is cooking. And when the round is over, she has to practice her math skills as she adds up her cards to see who is the winner. I would recommend this game for sure!

Pirate Farkel Flat Pack

I bought this to play Farkel with my 3 year old grandson, he is really into pirates now and the skull and crossbones on the dice really grabbed his attention! I also like that the other sides have numbers instead of dots as this is great in helping him identify his numbers up to six. Of course he needs a lot of help to "play" the game but this set makes learning so much fun.

Steve Jackson Games Munchkin 4 Need for Steed

This add-on definitely improves the original Munchkin! It contains sidekicks like an elf sidekick and dwarf sidekick who can use race-specific items and take some devices off your hands (literally!). It also has modifiers like High and Dark (high elf, dark wizard...) which can be used ALONG WITH race cards (dark characters gain a level when bad stuff happens to other characters, which adds a fun dimension). The other notable addition is the steeds, "items" which you can ride for as much as a +5 bonus with the all-powerful Dragon Steed. Princess and the Pea Board Game

With the "princess" rage that is sweeping the country, my granddaughter recently celebrated a "princess" birthday. So, I got her this game. Pros: game board is colorful and includes an ample supply of plastic beds. Cons: the game board should be larger with more spaces. With such a small board, we finished the game in about 5 minutes.
