. Angelica Sky Dancer Launcher with DVDChildrens Toy Shop > Toys > DVD Games from: Play Along My 8-year old daughter asked me to add a review. I asked her what to write: "It's really fun to take it outside and make it fly. The other thing that's good about it is that you have to pull hard to make it fly so I like to make it spin without flying. It is five stars." And my six-year-old, noticing that the 8-year old has it, adds: "It's only for 6-year-olds! Waah!" They both like it and have played with it quite a lot -- more than with most hunks of plastic adorning our floor. |

. Strawberry Shortcake™ Tea Party DVD Board GameChildrens Toy Shop > Toys > DVD Games from: Snap TV Games August 15, 2007 My 6 year old loves Strawberry Shortcake and so also loved this game. The nice thing about this game is that she can play by herself after the Dvd is in. The not so good thing is that she tired of it after the first week and only pulls it out periodically now! I love the concept of a Dvd driven board game, though! |

. Madagascar Animal Trivia DVD GameChildrens Toy Shop > Toys > DVD Games from: Specialty Board Games My children (7 and 5) have a good time playing this game. The DVD shows footage of animals (including many obscure ones), and then asks a question. The questions are scaled to the age of the player. They learn interesting bits of trivia, and find the animal lore so interesting that they don't even mind losing. The game requires using the DVD remote to answer and advance the game, so at this age an adult is required. |
