Dora Deluxe Dollhouse Furniture - Babysitter

Many years back I built an extraordinary dollhouse for my own personal use and enjoyment, and everyone who sees it can't say enough good things about it. My older granddaughter, a few months shy of three, is much too young for that dollhouse, which has very delicate furniture and furnishings. I decided to build a very sturdy dollhouse for Jordan, and to furnish it with good, durable, plastic furniture. I was particularly attracted to the Dora dollhouse furniture line, not only because they appeared to be very user friendly, but mostly because they had things that would enthrall a small child. My daughter loves this set. Very cute. But I agree with the others its a little loud. I just replaced the batteries after a year of use though. Its one of her favorite toys.

Le Toy Van - Rosebud Child's Room

I purchased all of the Rosebud rooms to go with a Ryans Room Dollhouse for my 3 year old. I was attracted to these rooms over the other lines of wood furniture (Ryans Room, Plan Toys) because of the soft colors and lots of little details such as towels for the bathroom, tea set for the kitchen, computer for the desk. When the toys arrived two of the rooms had so many broken pieces that I had to return them (back to this later). The rest were either in good condition or easily repaired so we kept them. I immediately put most of the smaller more breakable pieces (dishes, children's toys, etc) aside for later. I thought this set came at a great price to begin furnishing our 3.5 year old daughter's wooden doll house. The "accessory" items are a real bonus, too. She's been playing with her house non-stop since she got it and loves the pieces. Her 8 yo sister loves the set, too. I had wanted furniture that looked feminine but would be practical for little girls to play with frequently. So far this set is very satisfactory, and I plan to purchase more rooms from the same company.
