This bag was part of a birthday gift (with doll and stroller) for my 2-year-0ld granddaughter. She really enjoys playing with the items. There are 2 problems: first, the cap on the jar of baby food fits very tight and neither the 2-year-old or her 5-year-old sister were able to take it off or replace it; second, the bag is constructed of very thin cotton material with no support at all which make it difficult for small hands to manipulate.

My daughter was given this set for her 6th birthday. I thought it was really cute however, the bed is so flimsy it just falls apart when she plays with it. Its like a dollar store toy not what I would expect from Mattel! They need to do much better!

After the kitchen set, this is probably one of the best sets to have for your dollhouse. It comes with lots of pieces. The drawer opens in the buffet table, the tablecloth and chair covers are removeable, and there are several food pieces (cupcake tower, tea set, etc.). It also has much nicer colors and fabrics than the other sets.

Other reviewers that have said more chairs would be nice, but I would take that a step further. A long rectangle table with room for the family would be more fun.

This is a great doll for any girl under 4 years old. My niece is 2 and has not put it down since I gave it to her for her first birthday. It goes every where with her. I just bought another one for my new granddaughter for Xmas. She will be 6 mos. old at Xmas.

The quality of these pieces is exceptional. It would be difficult to find so many pieces, for this price, at a hobby or craft store - let alone such well made ones. We have a Victorian dollhouse (not this brand) with Melissa & Doug furniture, which fits perfectly to scale, so the accessories really complete all the rooms. The shelves included with each set already have an adhesive strip on the back! These are nice for kids and collectors alike. It would be great to see seasonal or holiday dollhouse accessories by Melissa & Doug, their products are always wonderful. Dealing with Gummy Lump Toys was a great experience, too!

I just received the doll. She looks just like my 14 month old daughter Ashley (we are asian). I can't wait to give it to Ashley for Christmas. I would have gave it 5 stars if the doll's eyes can close and open as described. Also, she has no eyebrows. Overall, I am happy to find this nice asian doll for my daughter.

My daughter loves this bag. My 2yr. old straps the velcro diaper bag onto her doll stroller. Her favorite part of the set is the diaper and the baby powder that makes a rattling noise when shaken. Daily, she packs everything into the bag and then takes it out-examining the pieces each time. Would definitly recommend.
