I bought this for my little granddaughter when her little sister was born. She is two & was fascinated with the eyes closing. Just right for someone that age. BUT, the bottle is now lost, so don't know if the eyes will ever shut or open again, HA

Playmobil Take Along Dollhouse

My son got this for Christmas and we could not believe how much came with it. I guess it is more for girls after reading the other reviews but he loves to play with all of his Little People sets and this is similar in that you get to pretend. He loves to put the family to bed and have the mommy cook. I think this toy offers great fun for both boys and girls because the set is very neutral in coloring and offers opportunities for the kids to explore how they would do things in their own house. My son is under 3 but he has not even tried to put any of the pieces in his mouth so I think as long as you play with younger children then this toy will be okay (or if your child likes to put things in their mouths then this is probably not the toy ... Wild Planet Water Babies Caucasian 9" Newborn Flower Lavender Romper

This 9" water baby is just the nicest doll for a pre-schooler. My family members had them, and I give them as gifts. They clean easily, are sturdy, fit little arms, and have sweet features. They are available in multicultural models, which is a plus.

Mary Poppins Doll

My 2 year daughter became interested in Mary Poppins watching the movie's musical scenes on You Tube. She fell so in love with Mary Poppins we've added all things Mary to our collections, including this doll. One thing I didn't catch in the description is that she has moveable joints on every part of her (except wrists and ankles!) which can make it hard to play with because she's so flexible and always bending LOL. She is made of hard hollow plastic not the rubber that most Barbies are made of so she's slightly lighter weight. Her costume looks so much like in the movie, EXCEPT the hat. The dolls hat has more flowers and doesn't lay flat like the hat in the movie but lays angled up in the back so as to accomodate the dolls high bun. Not ... Read More:

Over 30 years ago I got two Little Huggums dolls. Now my daughter, and sometimes my son, play with them A LOT. They are extremely durable dolls that last, literally, a lifetime or maybe two lifetimes.

What works about this doll? I love their smallish size. They are 12 inches tall which is a more manageable size than the 18 inch American Doll baby dolls. Little Huggums have soft bodies, so they really are huggable. They are easy to dress and undress because they have soft bodies. I bought extra clothes for my/my daughter's two Huggums from the Magic Cabin catalog. Sometimes I find 12 inch doll clothes at Target. The extra clothes enhance the fun of playing with these dolls. Barbie Mariposa Willa Doll

My daughter really likes her Barbie Mariposa Willa Doll. She is very cute. The wings come off easily and you can attached them back in a snap so that prevents from breaking them when pulled on. My daughter is 2 so she can be rough on toys sometimes! I didn't even know that the butterfly would go up and down her arm (it is a magnet so the butterfly is not permanently attached to the arm) so that was an added bonus to the fun we can have with the doll :)

This is an adorable doll, well made, and perfect for cuddling. Our two-year old daughter LOVES her. Corolle dolls and clothes are well above average and worth the price.

This toy is probably great (it looks nice and the ratings I gave represent the My First Dollhouse line, also by fisher price)... I just wanted to note that it is listed improperly. The description is right: it is for the my loving family dollhouse set. It is NOT for the My First Dollhouse, it will not fit with the house or people. If you are looking for the living room for the My First Dollhouse, try searching under TV Room. Enjoy!!!
