Be very careful when ordering this item. Every single picture shows a cute bright red mat with colorful images on the border. That is not what I recieved. 2 days before Christmas I opened the box itself before wrapping it for Santa only to Discover, a very bland blue mat with out any cute or interesting little drawings on the side as is pictured. I wish Amazon would be honest and just picture the awful plain blue mat you will really recieve.

That's Not My Puppy: Its Coat Is Too Hairy (Usborne Touchy Feely)

My son loves most of this book. He really likes the "hairy", the "fluffy", the "shaggy" and the "squashy". However, when we get to "bumpy" and "shiny", he flips the pages. He's only 9 months so maybe he doesn't get the subtlety of the feel of those two but he definitely knows he doesn't like them. This book would be a 5 if those two pages weren't included and there were two other textures that were more obvious to little hands. He chooses this book over others but when there are 6 things to touch and he doesn't like two of them, it's only a 4.

The idea of countless, and by countless I mean about 23, skeptics reading this book and lapping up every word as a cat does milk is quite the amusing scenario. After all, wouldn't a true skeptic disregard a book that contains very little more than one man's opinion? Wouldn't this skeptic already be doubtful and cynical of all the topics that this book addresses? True, the said skeptic may be interested in learning the facts behind these `widespread lies and rumors,' but sadly very little evidence has been included in this book.

My daughter received this book (along with I Can Draw Animals also excellent!) for Christmas (which was 2 days before her 5th birthday) and she LOVES it! Very easy directions she can follow all by herself and something she uses over and over again! Great book for little artists!

My three year old nephew loves the movie cars, so this sticker book absolutely delighted him. The stickers are large and can be reused over and over again.

...I remember as a child playing for HOURS with my spirograh making beautiful designs! This model is in no comparison. The wheels will NOT stay in the grooves there-fore causing the paper to slip. It would be a CUTE toy if it worked right. This model needs to go back and be re-designed...

I gave this to my 4 year old nephew for Christmas. It's a terrific idea. He and his twin sister love classic Aquadoodle, now how about one that hangs on the wall. Included is a stick of tacky putty to hang it on the wall. Since the children were at the grandparent's house, Mom let them use it on the floor. Unlike classic Aquadoodle, this one feels like a very thin cardboard. It works just as well and has the same fun factor. The kids loved drawing on it. Within a few short hours, it was creased and wrinkled. It still works and it can still be hung on the wall, but it surely is not as asthetically appealing. I got this for my 8 month old son for Christmas as his first touchy-feely book. It's too cute! I'm gonna have to get another one from the line. Love it!

Classic Etch A Sketch Magic Screen

This is a classic toy, however since it is made in China and no longer Ohio (hence Ohio Art), the quality went down the tubes. I had an original one years ago, and although the white knob broke off after many years of play the steel axle still allowed it to be workable. But this version has some cheap aluminum axle, which bent and completely broke off after about 3 weeks. So now all we can do is draw a vertical line.
