I purchased this for my 5-year-old son for the purpose of teaching him to tell time. He isn't too interested in the time-telling part yet, but I'm sure that will come with time. He likes to take the numbers out and put them back in, but he does already know all of his numbers and shapes, so he's not really learning anything there. The one I have has a pentagon for the 5 and a hexagon for the 6 and there is also a line under the 6 to prevent further confusion between the 6 and the 9. After the number 6, the 7 is an oval, the 8 is an octagon, and the 9 is a trapezoid, as they are in the picture.
