Munchkin Play N Pat Water Mat

I purchased this water mat for my daughter to encourage more tummy time, and guess what it worked! She loves the colors and loves trying to catch the fish inside the water. So far, it has proven durable. Also, my daughter's physical therapist recommends this product. We are happy with this product.

I purchased both of these on the theory that if one is good, two is better. It turns out that the original Fascination Station is superior and the extra one is superfluous.

I believe it is a good choice for baby's development because it is easy to make the main wheel and the subordinate pieces spin, and making something that dramatic happen gives baby a sense of power over her world. I think the bold graphics are good visual stimulation. I think the different textures are interesting (although, for whatever reason, baby doesn't prefer this toy for teething...). I introduced this when baby was 6 or 7 months old and at 10 months she still likes it.

My son received this toy as a gift for his birthday. I am very impressed with how sturdy it is! He has taken this toy up and down the steps (all 13 of them) many times, and you would never know it, because the toy shows no signs of wear. He is fascinated with the moving mouth, and loves dragging it behind him all over the house. This toy reminds me of one I had as a child; it's nice to see that there's a company that still makes sturdy, classic toys that are reasonably priced.

Ok. At first I thought this toy was great. But really... it isn't.

As far as a shape sorter goes... this is a pretty poor example. The birds are over stuffed and do not fit into their respective holes. In addition, if one DOES manage to a get a bird in to the house through it's hole, there isn't really enough room for all of the birds unless the house is busting at it's seems.

The birds are cute, the house is cute, but it just doesn't live up to it's claim of being a shape sorter. My ten month old never plays with this toy and shows zero interest in it. Not even just to play with the birds.

My Grandson Loves all the Lamaze animal toys. He has 6. The red color gets his attention. He like to grab the little roo from the pouch and grab the Sandy's nose.

After reading the reviews, I was unsure on whether to purchase this toy. I was looking for a set of musical instruments for my 6 month old baby whose sole motivation right now is to make everything she touches make a noise of some sort. Based on the reviews,I was prepared that it was not going to be as sturdy a toy as i might have liked but it was great for my child. Each instrument makes a jingle of some sort enough to satisfy a six month old but I will wait and see how long it will keep her entertained. She loves the muscial ditty the octopus plays. It is a great toy for a baby and you will be happy with it as long as you do not have unrealistic expectations of it. Fisher-Price Zoo Friends Musical Gym

I am very pleased with this play gym. I wanted to get a smaller one as our living room is not very big. And, I wanted to et one that did not have all the bells and whistles--sometimes they are just too much.

This play gym fits the bill. It is smaller and easy to move and store. It is stimulating to the baby, but not overstimulating. I really like that the toys are attached by pulling the cloth piece through an opening in the toy rather than with velcro. No need to worry that it will get old and that the toys won't stay on.

I bought this for my 2 month old daughter, and she likes laying and looking at the toys. She likes the music that the penguin plays (it's a classical tune--no ear wrenching "baby" tune).
