I bought this before my daughter could sit up on her own. It was great for that and more! It helped her learn to sit up and kept her in one spot. The toys are great and my daughter still likes it today and she's almost 1 now. She likes to climb on it and still plays with the toys. It was a great buy and I recommend it! Only con is the cover is not removable for washing. That would have been so wonderful for thorough cleaning!

We were amazed at how pricey these playmat/activity gyms can cost across different brands. We decided to buy this one knowing it was lower priced but still offered a variety of colors, textures, toys, and sounds. Sufficed it to say, it has met all of our baby's needs and gets use every single day. Our daughter LOVES the musical mirror that is detachable and her first 3 mos. we took that mirror with us everywhere - in her carseat, on her bouncer, etc. The dangly toys have variety and are colorfully captivating. The fabric bars are the right height - not too low or high for baby's reach - even as she grows. It's easy to collapse and take with you too! Suction Cup Coaster by Anatex

This is a must have toy. We keep it tucked into our floppy seat so it is ready when ever we go out to eat. The suction cups are very strong. This toy doesn't move no matter how much my son tugs on it. It keeps him entertained while we are in restaurants. He loves it and screams with excitment when he's playing with it.

International Playthings Earlyears Stacking Activity Cubes

My son got these for Christmas when he was just over one years old. He loved them right away. He'd grab a cube and crawl around the house with it, clonk--clonk--clonk.
Now he is 20 months old and still loves playing with them. He's become proficient at stacking them, and the towers he makes pleases him to no end.
Each cube has it's own interesting draw--one is filled with tiny balls, another has a built-in prism, another makes a clicking noise, etc. I highly recommend these cubes, they're a good, quality toy that doesn't disappoint. They'd also make an excellent gift.

Discovery Exclusive Baby's Interactivity Table

I bought this for my son's first birthday because it looked stable and interesting. My main complaint is that there's no "off" switch for the volume. You must remove the batteries to turn the sound off and the sound is really quite loud and never-ending. I admit I'm pretty sensitive to loud noises (I always put tape over my son's toys so they're not quite so loud), but it is really annoying that you can't just turn the sound off.

Barking Dogs Family

Just bought this toy and we like it a lot. A few issues we found though:
Pull cord too short. I guess this is for safety reasons. But there is no way a 1 year old can stand and pull. So we had to attach another one.
The baby puppy gets detached too easily, not a big deal though.
It doesn't use standard AAA or AA batteries. It uses button cell batteries. I have bought a bulk load of AA batteries for toys, now have to search for those more expensive button cells. If I knew this before, probably wouldn't have bought this toy. Thats why I am giving it 3 stars.

Carrousel Push Toy

Our then 13 month old son saw this in the toy store he refused to leave without it. He and this toy were inseperable for weeks and at eighteen months he still plays with it daily. Older children will fight to play with it. I was surprised how popular this toy was. In the beginning he was mostly dragging it upside down or on its side and he still loved it for some reason. Now he can make the top spin and it makes him really happy.
