My son is 13 months old and plays with these toys occasionally. He likes playing with them in the tub also. He will put his toy balls and blocks in the barrels and is still figuring out how to stack them. He knows how to nest the barrel halves into one another. He also likes to hide these under the couch and behind chairs. Whenever I watch him try to stack them on top of each other I can just see that he is learning. We have another set like this but they are squares and he likes them also.

Under Lock and Key Garage

My two-year old son loves playing with my keys and trying to fit them in the door locks. I thought this toy would be perfect, not to mention safer, to help his finger dexterity and tune his eye-hand coordination skills. Unfortunately, both he and I were disappointed in this toy. Here are the two reasons why:

- There are two sets of three different shaped locks and a key for each shape. One set of these locks is on the top and the other is on the garage doors. The top lock got pushed in and stuck in that position so it no longer works. However, this "damaged" lock doesn't effect the garage door at all. It was disappointing as it happened the first time it was played with.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Sit-To-Stand Giraffe

I was really excited to receive this toy for my 9 month old as an early Christmas present from my cousin. She said it would aid my baby to learn how to stand. However, this can be a dangerous toy if you leave the child unattended. My baby boy tried to stand by pulling from the giraffe's ears and he felt on his back and hitting his head. The whole giraffe was on top of him. He was crying like crazy and very scared. I took the toy out of his room for the moment to see if it is more appropriate when he grows older. He doesn't seem to be interested in the toy anyway. Sometimes the balls get stuck in the mouth of the giraffe and it only plays one silly sound.

I got this toy for my young daughter. She just turned 6 months and doesn't have the manual dexterity to push the buttons yet, but she enjoys it when we hold her on our lap and help her push them.

The toy has 2 settings:
- one where each button plays a single note.
- one where each button makes the snail play a song.

Pressing the antennae of the snail changes between these 2 modes. When not in use, the snail can be rolled up and placed on a shelf or in a group of other stuffed animals. A very cute toy and even better that it's educational/musical.

The Happy Hippo Travel Gym is a great buy for anyone. It is fairly inexpensive and provides lots of entertainment for your little one. It is colorful and has a hanging mirror, rattle and toy that are all detachable. All of this is packed into a convenient carrying case that zips up. The gym is great to unzip and lay on the floor for tummy time or back time. It has just enough padding that your baby can play or nap comfortably on it and still not take up a large amount of space. The only down fall to this product is you have to make sure the levers are turned so that the overhead wire that holds the toys stays in place. BRIO Ant with Egg

As I'd hoped, the Brio Ant is as colorful, durable and entertaining for my grandson as the Brio pull toys I'd bought my daughter 30 years ago. No worries about batteries or mechanical noises with this. Great product from a good company!
