My 8-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter love this game, and ask to play it several times a week after dinner. They request it over a movie and a video game, even! That puts a smile on MY face! It's fun to see what sentences the kids come up with and it makes for great, quality family time.

I got this game for my fiancee for Christmas last year and we love it! I've played it many times and it never gets old. I love the historical references of the timeline cards and the things that you can do to change them. Killing Hitler is always fun! The game is easy to learn and easy to play. Individual games are quick too, 15 minutes or less with two people, so it's a nice game to play when you don't have a whole lot of time. It is also serious when it says it can be played with two people. So many games say they are appropriate with two players but really aren't - this one's the real deal.

My family loves this game. Each player plays on every turn - so no one is unhappy or inpatient. My children where able to start playing this at two and a half with adult supervision. Simple enough game that it can be modified to play with almost any age. Great game for those your ages - 2 1/2 to 4 - where there are not that many choices for that game group.

Ants in the Pants Cootie Games

My 3-year-old daughter couldn't wait to rip this game out of the box and play. Unfortunately, flicking the ants into the pants was a lot harder than it looked. After 30 minutes we were frustrated by trying and gave up. Later that night, my dad came over and gave it a try. This is a guy who shoots skeet in his spare time - he should know a little bit about aim and trajectory - but after 15 minutes, Grandpa gave up too.

We finally had a little bit of success when we threw away the cardboard dog that goes into the pants and just started chucking (not flicking) the ants at the empty pants. But, even with that, it's a still a game we rarely play.

I'd suggest skipping this one and purchasing the much more fun, much less frustrating ... Read More:

Jakks Sesame Street TV Game

This is a plug & play on the TV, it cannot use any adapter but only batteries. But I would say it is better to use batteries since kids normally pull it and it is dangerous if kids pull out the plug from the socket often.
I use rechargeable batteries. It teaches ABC, recognition of animals. My son is only 2 but he enjoys banging it. you press the blue or the red button to get the answer. it also has this drum thing like game which makes you choose red or blue. all in all, i think this toy is great. Bought it at $10 below. sorry can't remember the price. It was a promo then.

The Bible Game DVD Trivia

This is probably the most beautiful and interesting game about the Bible and Christian History on the market. One of the good things is that it's very easy to play - just like tic-tac-toe but on your TV. The games are nice and short (about 15 minutes) It also comes with a great Christian History timeline and pocket book Bible. The questions are multiple choice and they tell add an interesting factoid after every question. Good for game night and Bible studies. Best for 12-13 year olds through to adults. Kids under 10 may not appreciate the masterpiece paintings, music etc.
