I was at a local store and handed this to my 4 year old son to keep him occupied while I shopped. He really enjoyed it so I decided to buy it. My son's favorite game is the maze. My almost 3 year old likes matching games, but has a tough time managing the controls.
It has a battery saving feature, it goes to sleep mode, it says bye-bye within seconds of no motion. Requires 3 AAA batteries. It's about 5.5" L X 4" W.

This is a fun toy! I acutally purchased it for my father who is an avid fisherman, but is sick and facing surgery during fishing season. He has tried it out and it seems to be great fun. I don't think it would please the younger crowd, or anyone for that matter, who is used to real "gaming" if you are looking for graphics, etc. But for the money it's a good stand-alone item that will serve it's purpose.

Electronic Hand Held Battleship

The computer intelligence is quite poor. For e.g. there have been times when it attempts to locate lets say my battleship (a ship that requires 4 hits) in an area where only a ship that requires 2 or 3 hits can be located. This should not be really. The computer's attempt at locating ships seems to be purely random.

I recently bought this for my girlfriend and her father. They both loved their 20q game and could not put them down. I highly reccomend this for anyone who is a fan of puzzle games.

I had the 1985 version of this game and it was fantastic, so I want to get one for my 4 year old. But is this price for real? [...] That doesn't seem right at all and I certainly won't buy it for that. Is this a mistake or something?

Tetris Gold

This is a nice size Tetris handheld game. The screen is not too small and you can play three different versions of Tetris. There is a feature which allows you to light the screen when you so desire. The screen is not difficult to see. You can scroll between music, very low sound effects and a silent mode. The game is great for commuting, etc., as you can easy take it with you, due to it's compact size and light weight.

I call these road trip toys. Good toy for a quick present that is not expensive. It is ideal for a kid who likes the transformers. Not educational unless they need to work on hand coordination. Just a fun toy for the car in my opinion. For a transformer fan of 8 or younger.

I bought this for my 2 year old son for Christmas because my step kids all have hand held games and he always throws a fit for them. This was more on his level and also educational. At first I though it would only show what the cartridge had on it then he took it out and started drawing on it. It really has a lot of different things for him to do. It has the ABC's, numbers, coloring pictures, clip art, games and ect. He loves it! I have to take it away from him at night so he will go to bed. He likes playing with all the activities more than watching the clips on the cartridges.
