I gave this to my 5-year-old son for Christmas because there are so few games for the VFlash system. He really loves The Incredibles and loves the movie and was requesting the game when he saw a picture of it on the back of the box for one of his other games so I decided to go ahead and give it to him even though it says it's for 8 to 10 year old kids. A younger kid can play this game, but might need help with some of the parts. There is one game that is hard for him where Dash and Violet are running away from bad guys in Violet's force field and you have to dodge rocks and then answer science and math questions. My son recieved this game for his 3rd b.day a few months ago and he just loves it! He can have muck catch letters that bob throws down to him, he can put colored shapes onto a blueprint to help build a building, and have one of the characters go along a maze to get letters. We bought him the system last christmas when he was about 2 and1/2 with the animal art studio. Since he was a little young for it I thought that game would be the best for him at that time and he could do 2 of the 3 games on it. This system is great! Just wish it was cheaper!

Little Leaps SW: Play & Move

We have four of the Little Leaps games...and this one is by far her favorite. She is 14 months old and picks things up from this fast, using the words introduced and calling the characters by name. I would highly recommend this system!

Great game and very educational. I gave this game four stars on overall because the age is 6-8 and my daughter just turned 6 but she beat the entire game in about 30 minutes. I was hoping it would be a little more challenging than the 3-5 year old games we have. I do not think it is much more difficult, but she loves it.

I just purchased this Dora globe at Costco for $4.97! Amazon is really reasonable most of the time, but I was shocked to see how much they are trying to sell this for. It pays to shop around!

VTech Dora the Explorer TV Phone

We received this as a gift for my daughter when she turned 3. It turned out that my 8 year old boy loves this toy just as much. The connection is easy and it took us less than 5 minutes to take out the toy, put in batteries and connect to our TV and started to play. The games are very educational with teaching very basics like colors, numbers, memory, counting, hearing, etc. The best part of it is that this can be a play-alone unit that doesn't need to be connected to TV, so kids can bring along in the car for road trips or play without a TV and still have lots of fun without TV. VTech has done a great job again, we would highly recommend it and will continue to buy more toys made by this company.

Vtech - Explore & Learn Helicopter

My 15 month old really enjoys this toy. The only thing to be careful about is the cord...when she was younger it would occasionaly wrap around her so we only let her play with it when we were in the room. She learned quickly to put the balls through the helicopter blades and enjoys the different sounds and has fun pressing the buttons.

LeapFrog My First LeapPad Educational Book: Two Princess Tales

I ordered several of these "first" books because they had the characters and simplicity that a four-year old would enjoy. We had difficulty getting the book to work properly with the My First LeapPad. Our granddaughter was disappointed and didn't bother with it when it didn't work. Perhaps our LeapPad is defective, thus resulting in the lower rating.

Vtech - V.Smile - Thomas the Tank: Engines Working Together

For some reason my son loves to play this game. He is not a big Thomas fan, but likes this anyway. I have a problem with it because he has trouble making the turns on the tracks and always hands the joystick over to me so half of the game is actually played by me. I also have trouble making the sharp turns because it is tricky and I have to back up several times to try it again. It can get frustrating and annoying. I would give it 1 star, but gave it more because although I think it is the worst of the V-Smile games (and we have about 10 of them), my son still loves it.
