My 4 year old LOVES this toy. He calls it his workout and does it about twice a day...:)
However, yesterday, he was punching the Venom side of it, and he hit it a little too hard. It shot back up and the plastic speaker/switch part of it hit him in the face and gave him a bloody nose. Ouch! They should cover that with something softer.

Baby loves it. Great interactive toy, only problem is the volume is too low 7 does not adjust. Can be used by baby as young as 6 months.

My son got this from his Nana when he was about 6 months old. He did not care for it at all since it only plays 1 song on either number or shape mode (2 songs total). Now that he is 11 months he's suddenly interested in this toy again. He likes to push the nose which lights up and says different phrases. When it laughs, he laughs too! he also likes to take the lid on and off. I gave up trying to show him how to put the shapes through the holes b/c they are very hard to push through. he has some circles from a different shape sorter and I glanced into his playpen last night while I was making dinner and he was putting circles through the right hole! all by himself! the only complaints I have at that there are only 2 songs and you have to switch ... This one is hard to find! It's bigger than the others and very colorful. My 6 year old grandson just loves it. Again it comes with a code and then the kids can go on the educational free Webkinz site. Grown-ups can play along. This one was more expensive, but very nice.

Maybe because we have the real thing as a family member the kids found it seriously lacking anything interesting.

But my Macaw is in love. We have to hide it or he is constantly trying to get it to come and hang with him.

I bought one for my son at 5 yrs and he still loves it at 6.5 yrs - they no longer sell them in NZ but I so wanted one for my 5 yr old nephew that I was glad to find them on Amazon!
