A couple years ago I purchased the TV version of this, along with about 15 games. The system did not work, so I took it back for a new one. That still did not work right, so I purchased the hand held version. That one had a short in it, so I took it back for a second one. That one worked for maybe 3 or 4 minutes at a time (after you spent 10 minutes trying to get it to work), so I sent it in for a new one. My 3rd one (and 5th V Smile system) still does not work right - it still acts like it has a short in it, like the others I had. I have spent literally hours trying to get these to work - with no luck. My kids are dying to play all these great games, but we can't get any system to work. I bought the camera for my daughter's 4th birthday, which falls 3 days before christmas so that she would be able to take pictures at christmas. She loved it. It went everywhere with us. It is a great toy that takes ok pics. No they are not in 8+ megapixels but for a four year old they were perfect. if you take them in well lit areas they are very good pics on the screen. If in darker areas the subject has to be close so that the flash can work. Overall a great toy for any child who loves taking pics

Received as a gift for Xmas. I agree. Does not amplifiy your voice at all. My girls and others try to make it louder by putting it in their mouths. Now it doesn't work at all. Very disappointing!

My two-year-old got thid toy as a birthday gift. He is a ELMO fan and he loves this toy. This has been his favorite toy for several months. We didn't have problems with the cards. It teaches numbers, colors, shapes and letters and simple phrases. Overall, this is a cute and fun laptop toy for 2-year-olds.

This toy is awsome my kid really injoy it specially getting points by way of solving some problem. I encourage my kids to go to Math & Science to get their points.

For me it is very educational at the same time your playing with it.
