Purchased this joystick so a second player can participate in the VTECH Flash games. There is nothing wrong with the joystick, it works fine. It is easy to use and we love the versatility of it because it is made to accomodate left and right handed people. Which is why we gave it a 5 star review. HOWEVER, when using this joystick as a second player, it was not as we expected. We were hoping the two players could play simultaneously and interact with each other's characters while playing games. That isn't the case. Only one person plays at a time. So, interest is easily lost when waiting for a player to complete the game. This is no fault of the joystick. I really cannot provide a review on this new version. I've known previous versions and they're a lot of fun. However, batteries run out pretty quickly. I did purchase this toy for my granddaughter, but have not given it to her yet. I've bought her previous versions and she's enjoyed them

Vtech - Nitro Junior Notebook

My 4 year old daughter loves this computer. It's great, educational. Only gripe is the screen is too small. If the screen was a bit bigger and in color it would be even better. But, overall I am satisifed with it.

Discovery Exclusive Radio Control Tarantula

I bought this for my husband as one of his Valentine presents. He was delighted, but a little disappointed that it made loud mechanical noises which would give away (as if the red light on top of the spider wouldn't!)that it wasn't real. As other reviewers have said it won't work on a carpeted surface. Very realistic - I hadn't realized I have a slight case of arachnophobia. I could hardly bear to touch it to insert the batteries. Note this product uses 2 AAA in the remote and 2 AA in the spider.

LeapFrog Leapster Educational Game: The Incredibles

Out of all the games my son has (around 10), this is the worst of them. It is confusing and very difficult to use. The activities seem interesting but when you try to do something, the controls just dont work well. I tried the activities so I could explain my son how to play (first time I have to do that with a leapster game) and couldnt finish them !!. Do not recommend this game.

Merlin Electronic Puzzle Game

I too had a Merlin as a child and I loved it. I have been looking for a Merlin for years and I finally found it. I recently bought 2 and I am glad I did. My newphews are always playing with them. The memory game helps them out a lot. The older Merlins were bigger, and the buttons on this Merlin are raised, (the older ones weren't), but it's the same Merlin. I recieved my Merlin in the time that I was told. Great product.

Barbie B-Smart Learning Laptop

Got this for my little sister. She was going through a toy laptop phase at the time because I had just gotten a new laptop for college and she wanted one too. She played with it obsessively for weeks. The only problem we encountered was the back light sometimes wouldn't come on but turned out to be easily fixable.

A great novelty item that the whole family can enjoy. Especially if you have cats or dogs. It has numerous uses for home or office and quite a vocabulary. It can even mimic your voice as well. There are some funny videos of it out there on the internet. However; this orignally sold for only $[...]. Needless to say I am not about to pay the current Amazon seller price which is almost double that. I will shop around and see if I can find it for original price, if not I'm passing until the next model comes out for a reasonable price and probably more features. As much as I like most Amazon offers it this is cheaper at other internet sites not to mention Wal*Mart.

Math Mat Challenge Game

My first math mat was defective, but the replacement has been working perfectly. I bought this for my 3rd & 5th graders (recommended age was 4-7) to help them solidify their math facts. They love it and can't wait to play it after school. They love DDR and they call the mat "Math DDR". I would strongly recommend this product for much more than the 4-7 year old age category - a great way to keep those math facts strong.
