my 5 year old son loves this game. he picked every other game for himself (and never looked interested in this one) before i finally got him this as a gift. now he adores it and it continues to be challenging for him, as the levels get harder as his skills get better. wonderful!

I got this game plus the Click Start computer because my 2 year old loves playing games on nickjr.com. I was hoping to lure her away from the computer with this game. But it really does not compare to the games on nickjr.com. The graphics are like Atari-days - giant pixels. And the games just aren't as engaging. She'll play with it for a couple of minutes and then asks to go use the real computer.

My 5 year old LOVES this. He's not a Batman fan but loves math (go figure). Once he mastered the basic controls and concepts with help from dad he did it on his own. It presents good game action with good guys and bad guys and presents math problems at different user-settable levels. The problems are addition, pattern matching and fill in the blank with the game designers doing an excellent job of making these interesting. I highly recommend this game/toy for those kids that like math.

My daughter received this game and the Leapster for her thrid birthday. I think it is great and she does too. There are short stories that are read aloud. The stories are interactive to some degree in that the characters can be touched (tapped with stylus) and they will add something to the story. As the main story is narrated, the words appear on the screen and are highlighted as they are read. There are several mini-games that are entertaining and educational. For example, one where the player is asked to guide the character through a jellyfish field by bouncing on the large blue jelly fish, or the jelly fish with the number 5, etc. I found it a well put together, colorful, and entertaining game.

While my 5-year-old has fun with this toy he was pretty disappointed when it did not come as pictured. It does not include the item on the left (sorry I'm not sure what it is) but comes with a pen instead.
Someone needs to fix this! We realized it after we tore the box apart, so I didn't attempt to return it. Lesson learned.

We bought this for our son's birthday because he only had the original "default game" that the Smart Cycle comes with. I was expecting it to be much more unique than it really is. While my son was excited to get on the SmartCycle and start trying it out (and excited because it was Diego), he got bored after playing it once- *maybe* twice- because the game is setup the exact same way as the default game. You pick your "vehicle" and then you have a track, just like the original game (only it looks like dirt instead of a paved road). Then they "drive" around the track and can stop at different areas to play various games. It isn't challenging for my son at all, and while he likes that it's Diego, it's practically the same game he's been playing on the other ... Read More:

Vtech - Rhyme & Discover Book

My children received the V-tech Rhyme and Discover book for a gift. They loved it very early on. It was probably their first favorite "book." Now my son, especially, has a HUGE interest in books. He liked this toy more so than my daughter. It plays nice music and isn't too loud like some toys. Durability? I don't know what would destroy this thing because it's had milk spilled on it, been dropped who knows how many times, and thrown around into the toy box and tossed about. It's still in perfect shape. Just wipe it clean and go. I wish there were more books like this. I've only seen one so far. V-tech needs to make a few more like this!
