My 5-year-old says this is his favorite Leapster game - and he has several. He loves math so it's a hit with him. He can play this game on long car trips and the trips don't seem so long. If your child enjoys math, numbers and counting - they will enjoy this game.

Great and educational. It is very durable. My daughter has dropped it so many times and pulls it from the attached pencil. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. We've bought some additional educational games.

Don't be misled by the word karaoke. I assumed it means you can plug into a tv, play karaoke CDs on it and sing to the words. All they mean by karaoke is that you sing into a microphone and your voice comes over the speakers. I am disappointed I did not investigate the product more. I think it is misleading to use the work karaoke to describe this product. Karaoke was not in the title of the product but it was in the product features.

In addition. The volume button is not easy for kids to use. There is quit a bit of the microphone feedback squeal the gets annoying. Seems durable so far. The screen to show what track it is on an such is very small and difficult to read.

Not worth the price.

My 3-year old received this game for Christmas and loves it. He asks to play it daily and has had much more success with it than the games that came pre-loaded on the ClickStart.

The first game, Shark Hunt, shows a keyboard displayed on the screen. For level 1, a little fish "hides" behind one of the letters. When you click on the right letter you find the fish and earn a star. If you click on the wrong letter, a picture of something that starts with that letter appears and it makes the appropriate sound. My son likes this almost as much as finding the fish, which he is a whiz at now but still enjoys. Level 2 is similar but you spell out 3-letter words in order to find the fish.

Leapster Arcade: Word Chasers

I bought this game because my daughter has been discouraged with spelling. This was a perfect choice. She loves to play and is quickly gaining confidence in her spelling ability. It is the classic example of a fun and educational toy.

I'm disappointed with Fisher Price.
I was expecting a lot more from a company like Fisher Price.
I bought one of these cameras for my 3yo kid's birthday party.
The first one wasn't shooting pictures properly. The images were too dark, even during the day.
So I returned and got the second one. It was worse. It didn't even turn on.
I went through 2 sets of batteries just to be sure it wasn't the batteries.

Kudos to Amazon for its excellent customer service and making returns of defective items a breeze.

LeapFrog® Leapster® Learning Game: Batman

This Batman game has me sold on the virtues of the Leapster. Shapes and slicing them in half, greater vs. less than, numbers with simple addition/subtraction, fine motor coordination, simple sheer fun! My son just likes me to watch him play the game on the couch. It's challenging for him with different levels of difficulty as he tries to battle and reach the arch-villain. It has helped him construct "good guy" and "bad guy" distinction. My son received the game with a Leapster L-Max for X-mas and will turn 4 on Apr 10, he's even beginning to read already, so whatever we're doing as concerned parents it's working! V Tech - V.Smile Smart keyboard

My 5 & 7 year old boys enjoy this keyboard. It's better than most qwerty advertised keyboards out there because this one has the shift key on both sides. You simply plug it into your v-smile & play, no batteries required. And it works like an extra controller... they can play all the other games using the controls on the keyboard. The tutorial for typing is great as well as all the other fun activities. And as always, you can order with Amazon with a peace of mind cuz their return proceedures are the best!

This is such a great toy. My daughter is 7 and my son is 5. They just love their Leapsters and play them all the time. They are educational and you can by a variety of cartridges for them so they don't get bored. I highly recommend this toy for kids from about 4 1/2 to 10!
