I gave this doll to my daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves her "baby." We took my daughter's binky away not too long ago, but she still loves to play with her doll's binky and put it in and out of her doll's mouth--and her own! Very sweet doll. My only minor complaint is that it doesn't come with the little stuffed animal in the picture.

Hasbro Baby Alive Hispanic Doll

This doll is all my daughter wanted. I saw the hispanic one and snatched it up right away since it was the last one on the shelf. My daughter is half Filipino so I tend to buy her the hispanic looking dolls. They look so much like her. I am GLAD the doll speaks English since my daughter is NOT spanish and does not speak the language (expcept counting to 10 in Spanish) I did not need a spanish speaking toy. I think many of us moms buy who have brown hair & eyed children lean towards the hispanic dolls so it would be a dis-service to us if these dolls only spoke Spanish. We just bought it so I can't rate how durable, only time will tell. I gave it an average on educational because it does not teach spelling or counting but she has plenty ... Read More:

I bought this Dora for my little girl who loves Dora, but it wasn't what I expect.

She looked excited with the doll, but not with its functions. Finally she took Dora like another baby doll with diaper. Nothing excited.

this collectors doll is in excellent condition, although i bought it under a "less than new" catagory, it had never been opened or taken apart, the quality is very good, it's only educational value is historrical in that it mimics the classic character, albeit with a pretty face. the barbie collectors doll represents the "wicked witch of the west" from the "wizard of oz" and "elphaba" from the book "wicked, the life and times of the wicked witch". it made a very special gift.

The doll itself came through the shipping all right, but the box it's in was totally destroyed. I purchased it as a gift and am almost embarrassed to give it, due to the condition of the packaging. And, while the doll's intact, the holes in the box allowed lots of dust to seep in (I assume in a warehouse) and the doll is filthy. I'm left with the options of giving a dusty doll in a ripped box, or a clean doll in an open and ripped box. Overall, I wasn't thrilled with this shopping experience.
