Groovy Girls Garnet Glitterbella

This doll is absolutely gorgeous. This picture doesn't do it justice. I was kind of bummed that it cost more than most of the other Groovy Girl dolls but bought it anyway because my daughter loves ballerinas and princesses and this one is both. The doll arrived today and it is just so pretty. The dress is really nice and sparkles, so do her accessories. The hair is strands of white, garnet and brown yarn and the top part is tied up with ribbon (there's a bow in the back). Her tights match the detail on her purse and the purse is actually open. Obviously it won't hold much but my daughter loves to put things in purses (she's 4). I'm sure this will be her absolute favorite Christmas gift this year. It was well worth the extra money. ... I bought 2, one for daughter & 1 for a younger niece. The poster hidden in the base was thrown out by niece's mother, unknowingly... hidden too well. We found ours by accident. Beautiful doll my daughter loves to carry around.

If a little girl is into Barbie, this doll has it all... cute clothes and hair, hair, hair! In addition to having fabulous hair to begin with, she comes with a clip-on hair piece! Sure, most little girls will probably lose the accessories within five minutes of opening the box, but who cares - that's all part of the fun! This doll hearkens back to the days when Barbie was just plain fun, not a collectible or a princess or other such silliness. This is old-school Barbie, plain and simple, and I love it.

In an historic year, what better way to inspire a little lady in your life? I seached high and low to find one. The pink presidental ball gown is a bit...ummm... bright,but her suit is lovely. She also has essentials for launching a successful campaign, and, of course, accessories.
