LOVE THIS TOY!! My son got this as a 1st birthday gift. He absolutely LOVES it. And my friends other kids also love playing with this toy. Your child does need to be able to stand to play with it as the song that is played is the side of the cube facing up, and the child needs to tap that side for the song to continue to play (ie Old McDonald has a few versions). Great toy for one year olds, I agree though, it is wasted on 6month olds (but the 6mo olds will soon be 12month olds)

Fisher Price: Best Buddies Elmo and Abby Plush

This was a gift for my two year old cousin, who adores Elmo and Abby Cadabby. She loved this set so much she stopped opening other presents to play with them. As another review said, Abby's skirt and hair would not be good for a baby, but otherwise this set is great!
