When I heard that the EyeClops Stealth Googles use real night vision technology, I thought, "I wish they had that when I was a kid!" I envisioned running around in the darkness, playing tag or Capture the Flag, and being able to see exactly where I was going. While this toy does indeed work as advertised, any kid running with it on is likely to get creamed. I see it more as a "spy in the dark" kind of toy.

The scope is a small square on the right eye, and you get a postage stamp view of the world. The detail, within ten to fifteen feet is amazing; any farther than that, and it's difficult to make out what you're seeing. My son absolutely loves this bucket of blocks. he usually lets me put him down in his play pen as long as i have this to give to him. He plays with it for more than 30 mins. which actually surprises me considering they have very samll attention span. I love that i get stuff done while hes getting some cognitive learning done. Now i'll pay good money for that trade off!

Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper

My son received this toy as a gift and he had a ball playing with it! We even liked the toy and it was a lot of fun to try to catch the balls as they popped out.

However, one day my son's arm got stuck in the toy when he was trying to reach down where the balls get sucked down to and it was stuck all they way up to his elbow. His arm was so wedged into the toy that we could NOT get his little arm out! Finally after trying to pull his arm out my husband ended up breaking the toy to get his arm out. It was really scary because we didn't know what to do when my poor baby was sitting there with this big toy stuck on his arm. I bought this for my two grandsons, ages 4 & 6, for Christmas last year. The concept is a great one but needs electrical hookup. But for me the deal breaker was that it really needs to be made more durable. It didn't last but two weeks and fell apart. They did not mind repeating the games which helped to build their confidence as they mastered more and more. But it would have been nice if they could of had their own names and scores like a lot of the other software has that's out there. Like I said ... GREAT CONCEPT but lacking in durability.

My Little One loved it so much at a playgroup that once I told her Grandam about it, it arrived the next day. She LOVES it. I swear it is the reason she walked at 10 1/2 months . . . ok, maybe not! But it helped give her a place to start from until she was steady on her feet.

This is the best purchase I have made this year! My 6mo. old will sit in front of this thing forever and just hit buttons and giggle with every sound it makes. She loves the mirror as well. She tries to touch the "other baby" all the time. On the other hand my three yr. old uses it as a dance studio. She grabs the mic and runs around dancing to the music and singing like a little superstar. This is a must have!

I purchased this book for my best friend who is having a boy come this December. I did so because I remember so many good memories when my parents read it to me as a child that I wanted him to share those kinds of memories with his son. Despite other reviews of saying this book is "pointless" or "dark and scary", we the reader don't always need to put on our critical, psychoanalytical, or marxist lens and analyse the books we read our children. Doesn't that take the magic out of books like this? Moreover, this book is about fun monsters and the imaginary lands that children go to when they are asleep or playing in our back yards. Vtech - Tote 'N Go Laptop Plus

This laptop was almost what I was looking for. My two and a half year old sits and plays with it and actually gets some of the answers correct...I'm amazed! I was hoping the keyboard was like a normal laptop because I'd rather her know where the typing keys are as opposed to A-Z. I also wish there was a function on the laptop to just let her type letters...but so far I haven't found such a feature. I bought this laptop with the hopes that she wouldn't want to use mine...and so far so good. I recommend this laptop for parents who want to teach their kids letters, spelling and how to use a mouse. For the price..it's great!

My 4 year old twins received this for their birthday last month. They are really into "learning" stuff like practicing counting, letters, numbers and so on. Yeah, it may not be a really great learning toy but what toy is? That is what school and parents are for. This is a toy that just help to reinforce what they have learned from school or parents.

My daughters like the drawing part the best. It may not have a specific learning objective like other areas but the game itself gives them independence and the navigation helps with dexterity. And of course the stamps are tons of fun.

They also play with the math games where they have to click on a specific number of shapes. It helps with shape recognition and counting. And the letters/sounds ... Read More:

When I called my sister to see how her son (5 years old) liked this gift, she laughed. Apparently he burst into tears upon first seeing it because it wasn't another super hero action figure. She sat down with him and his older brother (6 years old) and they played a round and they've been playing it daily ever since. She also mentioned that her 5-year-old tends to be a bit of a sore loser and this game has helped her to help him overcome that tendency.
