I bought this when my son was 12 months old, we started with the very basics and only used 3 or 4 sets so he wouldn't get overwhelmed. He is now 2 years old and still loves this game, we now play with all the pieces and he loves to match them up and organize them on his own. Not many toys can grow with kids at this stage but this is definitely one of them!

Save your money...I bought one and with 2nd use it stopped working and wires became exposed. Put electrical tape on unit with help of my husband and still didn't work. JUNK!

LeapFrog LeapPad Educational Book: Cars

This book is great! My son loves it! He is obsessed with Cars so this was a no-brainer to buy. The games inside it have helped him not only with his numbers, but also sequencing and drawing within lines. He plays this for hours! The only complaint I have with LeapPad books is that they are really easy to crease/fold. When he turns the pages, he tends to fold or wrinkle them. Otherwise, a game I totally recommend!

Pretty cool educational toy. The ant farm is a whole lot smaller than I anticipated, but it's still interesting. Out of 20 ants shipped to me, only 8 made it here alive. The cool part was that the alive ants sequestered their dead comrades into a makeshift graveyard and then walled them off in gel. It took them about 5 days to start digging, but once they started it was fascinating stuff. Thumbs up.

Baby Einstein Octoplush

This toy is 3 languages, most toys are only English and Spanish and I specifically purchased this because it goes to French as well. My son's aunt is willing to teach French to him and this toy will help Mommy practice with him!

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Storybook Rhymes

My two-year old has had this since she was one. She still flips through it a fair bit, and enjoys hearing bits of the rhymes, although she hasn't developed the patience to really follow the words with the printed text. That's why I would rate it as being a very fun toy but of limited educational value until the child is probably 2.5 or 3 yrs old. Great value though.

I bought this game with a few other puzzles & magnetic games for my niece and nephew's birthday. They really enjoyed them and are fine tuning motor skills while haveing fun.

Lamaze First Mirror

This is probably the best baby mirror I have seen. It's portable, light weight, and easy to clean. This is a two-in-one mirror. It can attach to the crib, which is where our's is primarily. Or you can keep it fastened to the wedge and baby can use it for entertainment during tummy time. What's great about this mirror is that it's just a mirror. Not a bunch of toys to distract from the real purpose of the mirror: for baby to see himself! Baby will also love it's bright colors and patterns that all Lamaze products are known for.
