This drum is very fun for my little one to play with sitting up. He prefers it in the rolling mode because he can make it sing easily. It is one his favorites. I also use it to work with him on crawling forward.

I received this at my baby shower, and it has become my daughter's favorite toy. This amuses her the longest per session, and most consistently day to day.
Her favourite parts are the two rings in Emily's hand - perfect for teething and clutching (she is also a fan of teething on the white ring you use to clip the doll on things - the edges are beveled and just the right width - and seems to find this soothing on her gums). She also loves the crinkle skirt, particularly the "hem" of the dress, with all of its different textured fabrics. Every so often, she squishes Emily's feet to hear them crinkle. She likes the rattle within Emily, too.
Although it is speculation, the high contrast of color and pattern in her dress ... Read More:
We bought the Music 'n Play table for my son for his 1st birthday. He loves it! He mostly plays on the music side, but I think he will like playing with the other side as he gets older. He especially loves to be able to stand on his own playing the piano. We just lean it against a sturdy piece of furniture while he's playing because it will slide if he leans his weight against it. He has even started "dancing" to the music when it plays. I think he'll be playing with it for a long time.
This is a great chair, though I think the age range is a little off. There is no way my 3 year old would fit on it, the chair is more appropriate for crawlers thru 24 or 30 months maybe (my 14 month old fits just fine). The chair is shorter so babies can practice pulling up on it. The songs are very cute, not at all annoying. The chair is more sturdy than other reviews say, though it is best to lean it up against something as kids want to climb over it or stand on it as they get older. This was worth the money, kids love having their own special chair to sit on!!
My son loves this turle. He is three. He sleeps with it every night. He loves turning the turtle on by himself. The blue and green star lights work great. The amber star lights are very hard to see, even when all the house lights are off. This product is well worth the money. It is great with an automatic timer of 45 mintues, the turtle will then turn itself off. This will be the only night light you will ever need to buy.

I bought this for my second grade daughter for Christmas after she had played with a friend's. She LOVES it and can sit for long periods making up funny stories (mad libs style). Her friends come to play and they LOVE it too. It really captivates their imaginations while encouraging their use of vocabulary, which is a primary focus at this level in school. Cranium has such a knack for coming up with educationally sound toys that are fun and durable too. A+ in our book!

In an effort to avoid the sea of generic plastic toys I purchased the play cube for my daughter. She has shown very little interest in it.
When she was first standing, she would use the metal "maze" tracks to pull up on. If nothing else, it's a testament to how sturdy they are. At different times she played with the gears and top maze.
Overall though, this has been one of her least used toys. Even the various cheap toys she has received as gifts get pulled out of their bins every now and then. The cube, however, is just taking up space.
It's certainly a high quality toy, but it just may not excite every kid - which hurts a little given the cost.

My 3yo, who loves his vtech whiz kid, was bored with this in no time. The dialogue moves very slow and the story lines are very basic. The child must click "go" on each page in order to activate it, very redundant. Once on a page, and they click go, they must choose a game a t the bottom of the page, after what seems like 10seconds, it spits out "find the red square", etc.. very boring. If your child knows his colors and shapes, they will not find this too challenging - aka boring. I think the whiz kid is a much better product. Hopefully he will like some of the other books for this, otherwise its going back.
