I just wanted to add my two cents, I read alot of reviews before buying this for my daughters first birthday and was very excited to give it to her. Two weeks before her birthday she started walking and by her birthday she was speed walking. She liked how it held her dolly in it but because the wheels are made for a slow unsteady walker this was VERY hard for her to push on wall to wall carpeting! My 2 yr old had no problem pushing it, but my 1yr old didnt have the strength and easily gave up.

Too bad because I would have easily gotten rid of a few other push along walkers we owned to keep this one, because there is nothing cutier then seeing your baby girl push her first stroller around the house, just hope they dont have wall ... Read More:

My son has borderline terrorized our cat with this - but in a good way. He is constantly seeking her throughout the house and between this and another book (Fun with your Cat) they are spending alot of time together. The cat has learned many tricks and will now roll-over on command - as well as jump through the hoop. It's amazing

My 5 year-old absolutely loves this game. The Smart Cycle is great for winter months in northern US. It helps with agility, hand-eye coordination, pattern recognition while providing a physical outlet for youngsters' energy.

Don't buy this for a child unless you want to be hated by the parents. It's noisy, takes days to work, and the chemicals it comes with stain carpets forever. I don't know who could stand to listen to this thing running for the over 24 hours it recommends.

I just received my copy yesterday and I have to say I much more than pleasantly surprised. The book doesn't seem extra special when browsing through the info about it on Amazon or looking at it through Amazon's "Look Inside" feature.

However, I bought the book anyway due to the strong reviews and to quench my yearning for a nice guide to the universe. Boy was I takan aback when I got my hands on this book, it looks soooo much better in real life, the pictures are absolutely stunning and there's so many of them. Also this book is massive, it's not one which can be carried around and read on the train, it is a large and heavy coffee table book.

I would give this book, Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan, four stars. The author describes everything really realistic and fun, making you feel like you're watching TV. All the characters are realistic in their characteristics. Only the bad thing is the ending I think. I think the ending happened too suddenly. That's the only reason I took one star out. It's really a good book though.
Esperanza lives in a very large house in El Rancho de las Rosas in Mexico, until a very bad event happens. By that event, she loses her house and her land, but her mother and friends are all at her side. My daughter has had this toy since she was 5 months old. She loved it from the beginning and it continues to be one of her favorite toys at 15 months old! She first used it to balance when she was learning to stand and liked playing primarily with the beads on top. Now she plays with the beads on top more deliberatly and the activities on mostly 2 sides of the cube. We haven't even started with the other 2 sides and once she starts learning letters and counting, she'll have even more to enjoy. She'll easily get many more years of enjoyment out of this - and because the quality is exceptional, it will last that long too!
