My son received this toy last Christmas from his aunt. He loved it then, and still loves it now, and he is almost two. He uses it more now than ever, as he has figured out how to make the buttons work and even can turn it on and off. I would definitely recommend this for any child.

Don't ask me why, but this was one of our little one's absolute hands-down favorite toys from about 9 mo. through 3 1/2 yr. Must tickle something in the brain. Makes sounds when you put the cookies inside or take them out. Teaches cause and effect. I recommend this toy!

The very best thing about this Workbook is that my son, who is four, asks to "play" with it. The content is perfect for pre-K. The first section is devoted to letters: letter recognition and writing letters. The second section is a combination of writing numbers and counting. The third section is phonics. The fourth, vocabulary (big, small, stop, car, animals, etc.). The last sections are shapes and colors, sorting and matching, my world (home, school, etc.), science (clothing, body, animals, habitat, etc.), and, finally, fun and games (mazes and coloring). We will typically use the letter pages each week as he does the same letters in pre-K. The rest of it we sort of pick and choose at random. But several times a week, he will ask, "Can I do ... This is a nice addition to the My First Leap Pad. My son loves his Leap Pad, and has a great time playing with it on his own. He got this for Christmas and has already gone through the whole book numerous times. He really likes the French portion, and has been repeating French phrases around the house.

My 3.5 year old has not stopped playing with the cupcakes since we opened the package. My two year old and one year old are enjoying them too. It offers color sorting, shape identification, and counting for educational stimulation. Plus, there's the fun of making cupcakes over and over. Would highly recommend.
