My kids and I are very impressed with this kit. The kids love the test tubes and all the experiments are separate with easy instructions and no mess!! Going to buy some for birthday gifts for sure as most kids will love these projects and parents too.

Hop On Pop was always a favorite of my three children for the rhymes , theme and pictures. Now that my children are grown, I continue to delight other children with the purchase of this book. There is something about it that makes them clamor to hear it over and over and over again.

has anyone had problems with the cyber smile shutting off while playing it or not turning on at all? i have exchanged it three times and they all stop working while my kid is playing with it and then don't turn back on at all....just wondering if i found all three defective ones or if anyone else has the same problem.

My son does not ejoy this learning game as much as spongebob, thomas and sonic. The games appear to be boring and can not keep a childs attention.

My daughter got this game from her grandparents for Christmas 2 years ago and she loves it! I read the reviews and noticed people were having trouble with it shutting itself off and stopped working, we have had it shut itself off a few times but usually was because batteries were low so once we replaced them or plugged it in it was fine. It does go through batteries kind of quickly. But the games are great and my daughter loves it. It is great for long car rides, travling by plane or going to a resturant or some other place they need to sit queitly! It seems to be pretty durable my daughter has dropped hers several times and it is still working. My newphew also got one and his is still working too. This book introduces a set of words then has three pages of exercises to reinforce the meaning of each word. It also introduces grammatical terms by placing the words into categories like synonyms, antonyms, compound words, root words, words from other languages, etc. This is a good one for use with a parent or teacher, too, because sometimes the definitions or synonyms/antonyms contain words my child has never heard before. The words aren't outrageously obscure, but are good alternatives for the child to learn to expand his vocabulary.

I bought this at Target for my 11 month old, and she thinks these blocks are okay. She doesn't really play with them much. She will throw them, but that's about it. She doesn't care for what's inside. Not worth almost $30.

Melissa & Doug Royal Family Wooden Doll Set

We bought these at the same time as the pink Melissa and Doug castle. I thought they were cute and looked durable. I somehow thought my daughter would want 'real' princess toys too and bought a small collection of disney princess babies (little girls). Two months later that set is either broken (heads came off) or clothes missing and I don't think we have an intact doll left. So this set where the clothes aren't removeable and they're built to last is the one I prefer! She has great fun with the characters and I like not having to hunt down little pieces.
