OK....so I bought this saber and was (just like the rest of ya'll) dissappointed by the glow of the sword! There was NOTHING. Seriously, compared to the Obi-won sword, you could barely see it. My wife hated it. (it's her sword....she wanted her own "unique" color) The blue LED in the Obi blade gives it color and brightness.....this weak flashlight bulb was lame. But...not willling to quit, I did some shopping for bulb upgrades and found a white LED flashlight bulb upgrade that works(by the way they did't make a purple LED bulb). Now the blade was too bright(pretty much white....which could be thought of as an improvement), so I put some purple transparent plastic(Dora the explorer purse $1, - 4 layers) over the light to dull the strength and ... This lightsaber is absolutely wicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this saber a year ago, and it's so durable and so much fun! This has been through so many fights and it's still in pretty good working condition. I think it is somewhat educational to because yo learn how to fight. I own the ulimate lightsaber kit,this one, and my brother owns another Basic lightsaber, and through expierience I think that this is the most durable.

Nickelodeon Character Flashlight Dora

This flashlight is very cute, you basically pull a little trigger on the handle and the inside of the star turns over to reveal a light. As the light is revealed, Dora says one of three generic phrases, one being an excited toddlerish-sounding shriek. When the trigger is released, the light turns back around. This is a big positive for me because my 3 year-old daughter loves to leave flashlights on after she plays with them and I can never find one with working batteries when I need one. Also, she loves having her own flashlight to play with whenever she wants. On the less positive, this flashlight is a little bigger and heavier than I expected and the trigger takes some strength to pull. Overall, for $3-$4 this flashlight is totally worth it.

I bought this toy for my 4 year old son who enjoyed playing with it for a day. We made a mistake, as we thought we bought the one that lit up as well as made lightsaber sounds. This one doesn't, but for the same price! This is basically a plastic cone that does not "spring" out to form, nor does it retract back in place (the cone gets stuck every time.) This was a waste of money, my son has more fun with sticks in the yard.

I received these as a gift for my son when he was still really small. I really liked the sturdiness of the plastic...no denting no matter how enthusiastically he chewed them! The colors were great, bright and well-combined for eye-grabbing contrast on the individual beads. My son found a lot to do with these...snap them together, line them up, take them out of the container and put them back in again, use them in pretend play. They were a great gift and I think just about any parent...and their child...would be happy to add these to their stock of playthings!

Color Glow Flashlight

These flashlights are hard to come by! I wanted a flashlight with an automatic shut-off to save batteries. I searched online at different stores and couldn't find a flashlight with the automatice shut-off feature. Until I remembered this one. Unfortunately hasbro doesn't make these anymore. So if you have the opportunity to purchase one...DO IT! My son loves his! BEST BUY EVER! Just so you know, to get to the bulb you have to hold the tab up and fully extend the battery compartment out. The bulb is attached to the end of the battery compartment. I haven't had to replace mine yet and I've had it for 10 years. Just an FYI.
