We got this flashlight as a gift for our two-year-old to take on halloween. It works great. You squeeze the handle and it lets out a wonderful, "oink oink oink OOOIIINNKKK!" opens its mouth and turns on the light. The best function is that the light automatically shuts off after a while. . .a HUGE plus (anyone who's ever given a flashlight to a toddler and had to replace the batteries daily because it was left on is probably with me on this one). It's made my daughter eager to explore the dark areas of our house rather than be afraid of them. The only problem with this toy is that the handle is fairly big around. The age suggestion is for 18 months and older, but my two-year-old can't reach all the way around to turn the light on by herself. ... Read More:

This toy barely lights up. Looks nothing like the picture. Has no green lights at all. It's a piece of junk in my opinion.

This was the one thing my daughter wanted from Santa. She absolutely loves it which is the great thing. However, it broke within one day of opening it. We went for a Christmas walk and my daughter proudly held her new flashlight, and then with no warning (and new batteries) it completely died. If it worked I'd give it 5 stars, but something shouldn't fail that quickly on brand new batteries that were installed correctly.

So-- starting around 20 mo, dd was absolutely into tea sets and I picked this one because it is a safe plastic and totaly cute. The top of the tea pot and sugar are interchangeable. It has gone through the dishwasher on the top rack a number of times and looks perfect. And tonight we discovered it is a great bath toy (if you have a certain tolerance for bath water ingestion). I will give it as a gift and recommend it highly!
