We love giraffes and this one is perfect for our baby girl. She loves to chew on his antlers. We've washed it in the washing machine multiple times and he comes out of the dryer looking and feeling brand new. No loose fabric or parts that could choke a newborn (once you remove the TY tag). When this one wears out, if it ever does, we would definitely buy again.

I think the idea behind "NAMING A STAR" is a very interesting concept to gift recipients. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the actual product (stuffed animal). The animal was rather "flimsy" and seem to have loose fur. I would not recommend allowing a small child to "play" with the stuffed animal.

My girlfriend calls me monkey ears so when she had to go to the hospital i wanted to do something special for her. This monkey was small enough to be kept with her at all times during her stay at the hospital and it also comes with the package to name a star after her. her mother told me she had not seen her that happy in years which goes to show that the biggest things come in small packages.

When I purchased this Kirby, I also bought the other one! I hid both in her house, and led her on a scavenger hunt to find both Kirbys. She loved it, and I took one home with me. She loves that we each have one. It's worth a few spare dollars. Plus! Each time you look at it...how can you keep from smiling?
