When I first received this product, I was happy. The colors are bright, the pouch that holds the markers is sturdy clear plastic, and each marker includes a picture of the Scooby Doo character. I was especially excited by the varied colors, enough to provide adequate gradients and shading for real art. I sat at my table, opened the first marker, and put it to the paper. I made a sweeping, downward curve. I was confused. I tried again and again, first with the same marker, then with several others. The image I drew didn't look like a dog at all, Scooby Doo or other.
