I needed pens that worked exceptionally well on dark colored paper. The front of the package says "for use with dark paper", but they do not work very well. They work fine on regular paper though.

The kids really enjoyed it initially. A set with fewer coloring pages and a lower price would be better for us because while the lure of many pages was exciting, the kids only eagerly used it a couple of days. I'm sure they'll use it periodically, but most of the set will be given or thrown away because once you see how it works, the excitement is gone.
