It's one of the best technilogical devices I own for the following reasons: 1. You can record right from your cable box then transfer your videos to your computer using the usb and vice versa. 2. It holds up to 512mb which is good for a couple hours of videos and/or music, but it wouldn't hurt to buy an SD card for about 4-6 hours more. 3. The cradle let's you set a timer so that it can record your shows on its own. 4. The lock is good so that it doesn't turn on by itself while in your bag or pocket, which will prevent battery waste.
