I bought Disney DDR on a whim - Black Friday, $10, thinking I'll find a kid to give it to later. But eventually, I gave in and opened the box. If you are (or your older child is) a DDR fan, don't bother. You'll be disappointed by the 8-bit graphics, the 8-bit music, and the 9 songs you will hear over and over again.
That being said, I have 2 small children, ages 2 and 4. They love all things Disney, including this game. The 2 y/o loves to jump around on the pad (I occasionally stand behind him and press the proper button), but the 4 y/o enjoys it. I don't care for the game, but you can still get a workout if you're playing with the kids.
Bottom line is this: great for small kids, lousy for adults, but if you're a DDR ... Read More:
Our family loved playing this game and played daily after Christmas. However, the joy stick broke before it was a month old. Still, for the price it is a great deal. The games are fun and challenging for the young kids and the adults. We are already considering buying a second one.

My 3 year old son loves this game, but it's our second one due to the cords fraying/breaking. It has some limited educational value - need to find certain items in order to advance to another level - and mild violence - Batman does have to punch/kick/fight villans. A good thing is that the game actually has an end once all the villans are put behind bars (literally!). Also, your child can save the game to play later without having to start from the beginning. If your kid loves it as much as mine, you will want to stock up on double-A batteries! Another warning to parents -the music will drive you nuts after a few minutes of playing -- luckily, it can be turned off while the kid still plays the game!
product works without any problems. Based on the previous reviews i read in amazon, I expected lot from this product. But this is very ordinary. Games are not interesting at all. Not sure if kids will like this or not. I personally did not like the games.

I bought this to go with two tv-games I just bought-both of which were NOT on the "incompatible" list... and let me tell you...
In regards to the "Jakks Ms. Pac-Man TV Game" I just CANNOT get it to fit in there (maybe I'll have to fiddle with the battery coils on the unit...) The spring-type of device this thing uses to "help" you install is twitchy... just as others have mentioned. I gave up after an hour trying to get it to fit into the thing, and believe me... that is no exaggeration of time.
In regards to the "Jakks Pac-Man Gold TV Game" I got it to fit after about a 15 minute struggle BUT surprise surprise.... the screw-holes in my AC adaptor DON'T LINE UP WITH MY UNIT! Even see the customer photo I uploaded! The black ... Read More:
This product is NOT what is represented in the ad. The ad shows two paddle controllers, but the system is only one. I tried contacting Etoys 3 times via email (they don't give you any other way to contact them) and I have never received a response.
Don't buy from Etoys! They won't help you if you have a problem, like selling something different than advertised!

My 6-year-old daughter is a HSM fanatic so I bought her this being that she enjoys video games as well. The age recommendation on the package is 4+ which I believe is much too young. I would say the age range for this toy is 5-7; the games may be too easy for a child over the age of 7. However, the games require the child to be able to read or for Mom to read to them, especially in story mode.
The graphics are rather poor and do not compare [in any way] to those of Playstation, Wii, and XBox (i.e. you can barely make out who is supposed to be who). Anyone who has purchased plug and play games before is aware of this and being that it's only $20, don't expect much. That being said, the sound isn't great either but a younger child won't mind. The device itself is attractive ... Read More:
A lot of the games are complicated for most kids younger than 7. This game would be good for traveling to plug it into the tv at the hotel. The graphics are like the Atari games from the 70's.
