My three year old loves this helment!! He has the police helment and he loves it! My 8 month old loves it too because the lights go off on the helment and she just laughs. He plays with it all day. Even my seven year old plays with him. It is a great gift!

I bought this toy for my daughter for her second birthday. 5 months later she plays with her instruments every day!

The instruments are very good quality.. extremely durable.. and they have to be to survive the wrath of a 2 year old!

Highly recommended to anyone looking for instruments to buy for their toddler - they are so durable, sound realistic (they are realistic), and are excellent quality.. as Melissa & Doug items usually are.

One one thing I would like to note. My daughter could care less.. but, the instruments come in a wooden crate. And.. its exactly what it is.. a box. Would be nice if there were different compartments for the instruments to be in.. or a lid.. or cover.. or something ... Read More:

This is a wonderful dollhouse and is great for two or more children to play together at the same time without crowding each other too much. I want to let any parents purchasing this item in on something though. You can by the doll packs for a fraction of the price on the Learning Curve website. The packs go from [...] for the smaller packs to [...] for the more extensive packs. Shipping is reasonable and you will save loads over other websites for these toys. Good luck!!

Hasbro Playskool Step Start Walk 'n Ride

Well I had this toy with my 4 year old and got rid of it and got pregnant immediately. So this time I went to buy a 'walker' for my 9 month old at the consignment shop and this was the only one they had. As soon as I brought it home he pulled up and started pushing it. Yes, it is best for carpet (as most like this are), but it is light enough not to be an issue if it tips. Also my older child liked the ride on mode for awhile, but it did seem to get small for him quick. Though he is now dying to make my baby's into a ride on. Oh and to me it is very simple to change from ride on to walker. I like the rolly toy on top, as he can play with it while standing up with it. Overall definitely worth the $5 I paid at the consignment shop!

I'd have to agree with the others who have said that this could have benefitted more if it had more 'compartments' on the inside to hold the characters. You open it and it opens up to one big open box - no trays, no compartments, no little sections for some of the accessories that some of the critters come with, and that would have been quite an added bonus.

I do have to admit though, after buying some nice tupperware in hopes of my five year old keeping her Pet Shop critters organized, it didn't do the trick. I caved and bought this, and boom - she keeps them all inside, organized, and has them all ready to go at a moments notice when we have to head out. Melissa & Doug Deluxe Mix 'n Match Peg Puzzle Bundle

We bought this combination package of mix-and-match puzzles for our niece, who is just over a year old. As with most Melissa and Doug products, it is sturdy, brightly colored, and easy for young hands to manipulate. And what a reasonable price -- these puzzles are $10-15 EACH in our local bookstores.

We love the mix-and-match idea. She can learn first how to put the puzzle pieces into any opening. Then, she'll eventually find a new challenge with this same toy when she grasps the concept of matching the color and design. Essentially, two puzzles in one for each of these!

Gotta say, I was tempted to open it and play with it myself! ;-)

My 3 grandchildren, ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2, love this! They take orders for sandwiches, then have a great time making them! The pieces are made from wood, so there is nothing to break.

My daughter got this for her first birthday in Nov. 2006. Once she figured out how to get on/off by herself, she rode it constantly. My husband counted once and she went around over 100 times in one go. She absolutely loved this toy and still plays with it occasionally and she is almost 3. A must have for your one year old and up.
