My daughter got her Leapster for Christmas this year; along with one game. When I was looking for a second game for her, I found the Thomas one. She is almost 5 and in preschool, and I thought this would be a good one to try. She loves it. She loves Thomas anyway, but this game really holds her attention. She loves collecting tickets, playing the games and reading the stories.

What a delightful toy! My 3-year old niece just loved this birthday gift, and it's has so much variety in it's responses and in the various pieces that goes with it - she never gets bored. It's also easy and intuitive enough that it doesn't take any teaching on how to use (so they enjoy it all the more quickly!). She immediately picked up the stethoscope on her own and checked the little pony's heart, when he asked "do I have a temperature?" she made sure to check it with the thermometer. In fact, the only problem with it was when her Daddy asked her to do something - she told him she was very busy taking care of her baby! (Who enchantingly thanked her for taking care of him - as she'd bumped that sensor!)

I bought this timer after reading several of the other reviews. I was prepared to have difficultly setting it up. I have to say, after reading the instructions, I found it easy to set up. You can easily stop the timer once it has started by simply pressing the MENU button. It's very simple. I suggest reading the instructions thoroughly before using to time.

IF you know about webkinz, you might know about the e-shop (a online store where you can buy overly priced anamated items, and pets with out a stuff animal). People are taking avantege of others when they sell there anamated pets on ebay for more than they are worth. [...], the speical pets(like the floral fox) are sold on certant days,like webkinz Wednesday,surprise Saturday,and super Sunday.

Wooden Take-Along 24-piece Tool Kit

Overall it is good. My son is only 14mos so all he is doing is banging around the pieces but I can see him growing with it. Only one of the pegs fits snugly like it is suppose to so he can hammer them in but the others are loose and a disappointment. After the Chinese Lead Paint scare, I worry about any product like this.

I've gotten the same enthusiasm for this stamp pad from my 4-yr-old daughter and 8-yr-old nephew. My nephew enjoyed my daughter's horse stamp set, so I bought him the dinosaur set recently. There is something extra special for the kids in getting that BIG, bright, extra stamp pad with the stamp pad in the stamp set! The colors are vibrant and offer so much more creativity when the kids are using the stamps. A worthwhile purchase!

Play-Doh Octopus Playset

It's a lot of fun to play with, and my three year old loves playing with it, but, MAN, is it hard to clean. Whoever designed the thing ought to be put in time out.

Basically, the play-doh is shoved down the top of the octopus and comes out at a right angle at the bottom. This works pretty well (but it's a little hard for the little one). When he's all done though, there is inevitably play-doh gets stuck in the bottom of the tube. The tube itself is too long to push the play-doh through with your finger, and the right angle makes it so that, even if you do force it down, you have to some how push it out the front. The weirdest thing is, there isn't a device (even the classic play-doh knife) that comes with it, that you can use to dig it out. ... Read More:
