I bought this doll for my five years old daughter, and she really likes it. At first we were both a bit dissapointed, because the doll kept falling asleep, and to this day we are not sure how is she supposed to react if called by name. I even decided to reset her, to no avail. It took us a little while to realise that even if she says that she is sleepy if you continue to play with her and not let her sleep she will respond to that, start playing with you and forget about sleeping for some time. The narrator's voice is not clear, we had problems understanding what the doll was saying. This is my daughter's favorite toy. We purchased it when she was 9 months old and she is now 16 months. It was the first toy that held her attention for more than a minute or two. It was also the first toy she could play with standing. Having a background in music myself, I appreciate the extent to which this toy teaches music. My only reservations about this toy are the sturdiness and the price. It has been durable enough for my toddler, but I wish it was another inch or two higher and the legs were slightly more substantial. That said, it has never tipped or fallen on my child. Overall, a great buy, and a must-have if you can find a good price!

Per the picture I thought the case was included....... Its not dont make the same mistake as I did. Had I know that case was not included I would of bought this from walmart.Its only [...] for the case and [...] for DVD on the go kit.At walmart you get more for your money. I should of read description better.I paid almost twice as much for the on the go kit. Ad/picture I felt was somewhat misleading. They did ship product quickly.

On each block a 3" long and 1 1/2" tall section of the brick-like design is disrupted by a the following advertisement.
"Comments? [...]
Mellisa & Doug"

This is way over the top and frankly visually obtrusive. I hope others don't purchase this item because of this intrusive advertising.

PS. It will take you about 2 hours to assemble the 40 blocks in the package.

So, even though the little plastic door opens and shuts whenever it feels like it and is not durable, I love this toy. My daughter who is 16 months, has loved this toy since the moment we opened it (at about 13 months). She can sit down and play with this for over 20 minutes. Every time she gets a coin through the slot she shouts YAY!!!!! A toy that makes my kid this happy makes me want to shout YAY too!!! This is a handy way to help children learn hand-eye coordination, counting and colors. The songs it plays are adorable, and it counts with the kid as they put the coins in.

This is just a great product. My kids love it. I have avoided buying regular game systems because I don't just want them spending hours playing useless games. I like this product because they have to use their brains and they are learning skills that they need for school and beyond. It has had a few glitches but we have had it for about 2 years and it has held up great. The art studio and other accessories are good products too. My girls are six almost seven and are starting to out grow the games but yet still play them. If they made the games for older kids I would continue to buy them. My only suggestion would be to make sure you buy the power cord. It makes no sense to buy this with out it!

Cinderella's Enchanted Slipper Game

I bought this for my daughter for her 6th birthday. She loves it! And it's a game parents won't mind playing as well. It's a simple game and doesn't take forever. I think this will be a favorite of ours for some time.

My daughter is in kindergarten, and she loves her tag reader! This book is very entertaining! Nice and informative book that will keep a child reading. I love seeing her sitting quietly and using the pen to read each word aloud.

Melissa & Doug Farm Wooden Chunky Puzzle

I really like this whole Chuncky line of Melissa & Doug puzzles. The age reccomendations says 2 years but I believe that is way too old. I got a few of them for my daughter for her fist birthday and she instantly loved them. The pieces have pictures underneath so that your baby can match the pictures. They are super durable and will stand up to years of play by multiple children. Only down side is that they won't fit in any standard puzzle rack.
