My 3 1/2 year old son has a hard time taking his time on his projects and usually gets all the ink over his hands. This product with the little handles has been great for his little hands to handle.

My son has this and two jumperoos. He prefers to be in his jumperoo 5 times longer and more frequent than the exersaucer. He does love the exersaucer though. I would give it 5 stars but if you are looking to only buy one item...buy a jumperoo. My son did not like or use the first stage. It was also really hard to put together. My son is also not too tall for his age, but he seems to be always standing slanted because even at the highest setting, he is too tall. He is only in the 50th percentile for an 8 month old. Buy the rain forest jumperoo. It will save your life! It has given me time to relax and watch my son have fun. :-)

I bought this for my little brother about a month ago and he still plays with it about every day. The fact that he can take it into either the bath or the pool is an added bonus. Quite honestly, this is probably the best toy I've ever bought him. It's durable and he hasn't ever loved a toy this much.
I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it! She usually has an attention span of only 10-15 minutes and moves on to the next toy, but she'll sit and paint for two hours! My 2 year old son likes the chalkboard side.
It is easy to assemble and easy to re-adjust the height for older or younger children. The frame is smooth, solid wood and very sturdy. The plastic trays and wing nuts are also good quality and seem like they will hold up well. I read some reviews before I bought it that the chalkboard was kind of hard to write on unless painted over with special chalkboard paint, but we haven't had any problems with that- the chalk that comes with it writes well and shows up clearly.

I recently purchased this on Ebay for my 2 year old. We love it! I load the dvd for him and he does the rest. He loves pushing the buttons and carrying the little dvd player around with him. The screen is small, but the resolution is so great that it doesn't really matter. The player auto corrects itself when it detects a scratch on the dvd. You can jostle the player around and even drop it on a couch or bed and it won't even skip. We bought the "on the go kit" separate and it has everything we need to go on a trip. It includes the car adapter, ac adapter, ear phones, ear phone splitter, and rca cables. I had thought about buying a different player, that had a bigger screen and was less expensive, but now I am really happy to have spent [...] on this ... Read More:
Okay, it's been years and I'm still buying Polly Pockets for all the preschool girls in my life. They can't get enough. Why you ask? The combination of having to use their fine motor skills (fingers and hands to manipulate the tiny pieces)along with the social/dramatic play that the Polly Pocket toys offers, keep the kidlings enthralled with this product. I never set out to buy Polly, but the children, (which are many in my sphere) continue to love and cherish the Polly experience. So there, I'm a Polly advocate. If the kids are smiling, playing, laughing and not watching tv, I'm in! Two cheers for Polly Pockets Puppy Parade.
My daughter received this game and the Leapster for her thrid birthday. I think it is great and she does too. There are short stories that are read aloud. The stories are interactive to some degree in that the characters can be touched (tapped with stylus) and they will add something to the story. As the main story is narrated, the words appear on the screen and are highlighted as they are read. There are several mini-games that are entertaining and educational. For example, one where the player is asked to guide the character through a jellyfish field by bouncing on the large blue jelly fish, or the jelly fish with the number 5, etc. I found it a well put together, colorful, and entertaining game.
Really enjoyed breaking this open at dinner. We like to turn off the TV at dinner time. This was a nice way to open up a little interaction and entertainment at the table.
