I bought this game for my husband for Valentine's and he loves it.

The gold spike system for keeping track of your potential numbers is very clever. There are nine holes in each space that you can use to mark with a nail your possiblities. Because all the numbers take the same spot (i.e. the first hole is a one, the second two, the third three, etc.) it's easy to see at a glance what numbers are available and where the patterns are.

The game comes with a book that has Sudoku puzzles of different levels and also strategies on how to narrow down possible numbers. When you can see the patterns quickly and easily it makes the game that much more fun. I think the spike system makes this the best Sudoku game on the ... Read More:

This puzzle is fascinating to my kids. As you can see from the picture, each side of the black and white square can be all black, all white, or split black/white or white/black. The object is to match sides and create a square using all of the pieces.

Granted, we rarely build the entire puzzle using all the pieces - in fact, we've probably lost a handful. But the kids just build as far as they can, they like trying to match up sides, particularly when they must match up 2 or more sides. Sometimes they'll race each other, to see who is first to build a 5x5 puzzle, but usually this game is a cooperative effort to see how many pieces they can place.

Very beautiful puzzle. Includes clownfish, sea horses, sharks and dolphins. My 4 year old daughter just loves this puzzle. It kept her happily occupied on long international flights.

My 2 year old daughter loves her puzzles. I had to show her how to put them together once, put them together with her once, then she was doing it on her own. She gets so excited when she completes one of the puzzles and enjoys the praise she receives from me when she puts them together. I'm glad I did not wait until she was 3 yrs old before giving it to her. After a few weeks of putting out one puzzle at a time for for her I started putting out the entire box and she had a brand new adventure of first separating the puzzles herself then putting each one together. I have been a puzzle person since childhood. I will say this is the best puzzle I have ever done-hands down. I love the colors, the puzzle pieces and the overall concept. I would recommend them to anyone.
