Using the booklet included with the product, it was pretty easy to take the knot apart, but difficult to put back together.

My son loves playing with these puzzles. It has helped him learn his ABCs and numbers. He likes carrying the letters around the house saying their names! He likes to count the objects under the numbers and say the objects under the letters. The fish puzzle is not pictured, so it was a surprise! I recommend these puzzles for any child interested in numbers and letters. I would recommend a younger age as well. My son is 22 months old and I wish we had gotten these for him sooner!

I'm a high school math teacher who can't keep my Ball of Whacks on my desk at school for long. I bought it last year, and my students went crazy over it! This year's students love it, too. Two comments:

a) The kids make any pattern they choose; in other words, they all ignore the booklet that comes with it. However, they drop pieces (accidentally) often; one piece was lost last year under an immovable object . . . Having 29 instead of 30 pieces has made no difference in the popularity of the Ball of Whacks, however.

b) The dang thing is so popular that pieces of it have begun to disappear this year. I honestly think, unfortunately, that people are stealing 2 or 3 pieces at a time, to fiddle with in their pocket ... Read More:

I am very amazed that my 3 year old daughter can do these puzzles. We started with the 48 piece barn floor puzzle and the third time we worked on it, she did it herself. So I pulled out these puzzles and after showing her the edge pieces to start with, she mastered them alone. She did not get frustrated even though there is no picture to use as a reference. These puzzles are such a great price too! Unbeatable value in a toy!

Both of my kids (2 & 5) love this puzzle. The 2-year-old (nearly 3) needs help finding pieces, but if I find her all of the pieces for a given engine she'll put them together. There is enough going on in it of different colors that it's an easy puzzle to put together in parts. It's a great toy to bring out when we need the energy level to go down for a little bit.

This is a great wooden puzzle for a small child. My daughter is three and can complete by herself. Good sturdy pieces and a cute design.

I had ths "toy"as a child an remember the many hours of fun thst I had with it. I could not resist buying it for my granddaughters. It challemges the mind, and enables you to solve a "puzzle" without help of a computer. It makes you THINK!!!

Rubik's Ice Cube

I don't know why, but this Ice Cube was fun for a little bit until I realized that I was already an experienced Cuber.

If you want to play with this cube, it is recommend it to start this first. If you go from the 3X3 to 2X2, youll only find it is slightly faster (but is hard to move it it's not that durable) and less interesting than the 3x3. I recommend it for first time cubers, but maybe not for the already kind of cubers.

The puzzle rack works well, it's best to put it on a wide surface as when it is pushed off by the children it makes a mess. So far it seems durable, the test will come when someone throws it. My class was very happy to have the puzzles back out. I did not rate this item on the fun category because it is a storage item not really a toy. It makes it a lot easier for children to find the puzzles they want which are fun.

We bought the Melissa and Doug Puzzle Bundle for a friend of our daughter. I never saw a smile so big in my life. She loves puzzles and this was a huge hit!
