My kids received this kitchen as a birthday present. My two year old loves it because she can tinker around the kitchen and turn the water on and off (and not get fussed at). My one year old loves it because she can crawl under the arch and it says things and it lights up. It's large enough for two or three kids to play with at a time. It encourages education such as ABC's and on/off, open/close, etc. It also encourages imagination such as pretend cooking and cleaning. I wish the opposing side had more activities (especially for the price). Also, the sound could stand to be louder (hard to believe as most other toys they have blast us out the room).

My son added this to his Handy Manny collection and loves it. The tools are the perfect size to help the handyman in the family. My husband assembled a shelf yesterday, and my son (2 1/2) was right there next to him with the tool box. The tools go everywhere with us. Even at naptime. I haven't noticed that the sound is too loud like the other reviewers, but I find that the sounds most toys make are more tolerable when your child really enjoys it like my son does. Very happy with purchase and highly recommend.

My 4yr old had gotten this for her birthday. You can program up to 20 different paths that rocket can do in concession, by going left, right, zig zag, figure 8, straight, just by pushing the large buttons several times. You need a lot of floor space for this, as it it is traveling all over the floor. It will stop the commands if it runs into something or if picked up.
You can take off the wheels, and put dune buggy wheels on, also the helicopter piece on the top comes up to put it into rocket mode. My daughter has played with this a lot. For an adult the noise level on it is kind of loud, and can get a bit annoying. The only feature my daughter keeps asking for on it, is when is it going to fly in the air?
Overall it has been one ... Read More:

It took more time and patience to put together than I thought it would, but the pieces fit well, and the end result is a really sturdy play kitchen. The twins love opening and shutting the doors, clicking the knobs, "talking" on the wall phone, and putting pots and pans in place. Keeps them busy.

We have the guitar that goes with this, but honestly, my 7 year old son uses the amp with his iPod the most. It isnt especially loud, but thats fine by me. He hasnt complained, so I'm happy with it.
This trolley lets my little guy have so much fun cleaning the house and "helping" me. My only complaints are that the trolley comes apart so easily I am trying to devise ways of keeping it together for my own sanity and that the vacuum does not fit easily in the front as shown in the photo so it is never put away properly. Also, though the dust-buster is fun, there is no place provided for its storage and so it too is abandoned in the middle of the floor more frequently than I would prefer.
I got this for my 3-year-old son for his birthday 3 months ago. Everything he picked up became a guitar (a stick, a box lid, my leg!), so I decided he needed a guitar for his birthday. He LOVES this guitar and plays it all the time.
Things I like about it: it has a strap which makes it much easier to hold and play. It has a volume control so we can make it not too loud. It is a great size for my average to large 3-year-old. It has lots of buttons and different ways to play it - some built-in sounds, but you can also play a tune on your own (by pushing the buttons on the neck). The buttons are labeled with the note names. It is very durable - my son is rough on toys and nothing has broken yet.
The only negative is that the strap ... Read More:

This is a GREAT workbench! We bought this for my son's 3rd birthday. He was having a construction-themed birthday party AND he really liked playing with some tools he got for Christmas, so we thought this would be the perfect gift. I did lots of searching online before settling on this workbench (after reading reviews and deciding on what we wanted exactly). I like toys that are well built and leave a lot up to the imagination (no batteries, lights, sounds, etc...). So, I considered this workbench and a few others.
The drill does require batteries, but nothing else makes sounds. It includes a plastic working drill (with forward and reverse modes and 4 different bits), a plastic hammer, and a plastic saw. There are no other tools, which ... Read More:
