My First Magic Set

My son will be 4 in two months. Lately, he has been asking me to teach him some magic tricks. So, I ordered this kit. It is brilliant! I have had the best time playing with my son learning how to do the tricks. Of course, he has to perfect them but, oh my gosh....we have got to get the video camera out!!!!!! He needs to follow directions (my directions). He needs to explain his trick to his audience (worth a million dollars). He needs to not mess up (this is the funny part because he messes the tricks up, here and there).

This set is DEFINITELY appropriate for the preschool age child. I highly, highly, highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought this for my six year old grandchild and she loved it. Her older sister (11) who has a magic set for older children, was able to help her do her magic. Both felt very accomplished for their actions.

My friend said it smells like moldy balls. He meant rubber balls but it still made me laugh. But it stinks. I wouldn't give it to my dog to chew because I was afraid of what it might be made of.

Regardless, the item is not worth it. You'd be better off going with the Sash and Glasses costume if you want to be Sarah Palin.

I guess I'm asking for too much when I think it's overpriced. The veggies are stuffed and the pot is plastic. Not that a kid needs a metal pot (ouch if it drops on their foot) but the stuffed veggies are kinda wimpy. The wooden spoon is nice and the timer adds a nice touch even though they don't know what to do with it. My little one thinks the pot makes a nice hat, so I guess it isn't too bad.

My granddaughter loves to pretend and loves this cart even though she's only 19 mos old, she knows what it is. I give her coupons and "credit cards" and she even knows what they are!! Very realistic and light weight enough for a tiny tot . . .even if it tips (which it hasn't)

This is a great toy, especially for the amount of firepower it gives in a nerf fight/war. It does have a tendency to jam on occasion due to the wide fire chamber where the two plastic spinners eject the dart. Its rather easy to unjam, but if your planning on aiming then forget it. The accuracy gets better when fired less often, and with a pause inbetween trigger pulls. I find that it is alot of fun to play with, but is not recomended for upstairs/downstairs games due to the "unloading of the gun when fired at a downward angle. It is fine for upstairs assaults however, and that makes it all the more fun. I did have problems with refill darts until I found some nerf darts that work well for it. Well, I bought this puppet to be used with other old puppets that a Young Team of the Church had to teach with them at Sunday School Christian Lessons oriented for a group of ca 150 children.

This is the first puppet that I buy from «Fat Brain Toys», and it satisfied my expectations.

This a very useful tool for children's teaching applications, and I'm already considering to buy another one from this Store because the puppet that I bought has a very good quality. I recommend it.
