this is fun, fun, fun. The toy itself is soft and cuddly enough to sleep with. The computer access to a world of games is wonderfully interactive. There are outfits and accessories to "buy" but you must "earn" the points by becoming better at the games and playing them often is the key to "success"(video style)
I am happy with the lessons this is teaching my granddaughter and she is happy playing. The games are simple and easy to master while still fun and rewarding. Amazon has a great price on this toy...the best we found and we looked hard as it was HER money being spent(and saved)

The toy's great, the website's fine - my kids love getting on the site - but jeez louise, you'd think Webkinz was the Federal Reserve Bank the way they make it so difficult to create a web account, log on, and save your passwords! You can't change passwords, EVER. You can't change the name of your toy, EVER. You can't change the name of the toy's owner, EVER. (I got two of our toys mixed up and registered one of them in the wrong child's name: too bad, no way to ever fix that.) If you lose that slip of paper that came with your toy, you're out of luck, FOREVER - there's no online registration so that you can recover your information. My daughter loves the Backyardigans. She has the plush dolls near her when she watches the episodes. The dolls are durable, a good size and very cute.

I never recieved this item. I found out from the tracking information that it had been damaged in transit somehow and returned to sender. I never recieved an explanation of how it was damaged or if another one would be shipped out or anything. I really wanted this item and am very unhappy about no communication about it. It was ordered over a month ago. Please check into this as I want this item, the Melissa and Doug Giraffe-plushGiraffe - Plush

This toy is great. My 7 year old wanted one forever and we finally got it for her birthday. The dog grows in 3 to 4 stages, then after being played with awhile shrinks back down and starts again. You program in your child's name and the dog's name and it talks to them using that information. Durability rating is for the brush and bone it comes with (and requests). Don't know what happens if you lose them. Very cute. She really hasn't put it down.
