Bought this toy for my 2 1/2 yr-old Grandchild, and even if he doesn't seem to be a "destructive" type of boy, he did handle it with no restrictions. In spite of that, the truck works OK, and the ladder is intact.
I liked the fact that there are several choices for the electronics. Siren sounds, messages, etc
The fireman figure received a good deal of handling, but remains in one piece.
I recommend this truck for any kid 3 or more year-old.

Knight's Castle

My five year old son had many Schleich knights and soldiers, etc., so we finally got him the castle. He has had a lot of fun since receiving it for his 5th birthday. He and his 8 year old sister both enjoy playing with it. They also have used the castle as a home for some of their other toys as well (dinosaurs, dolls, plastic animals, etc.). They have gotten really creative in how they use and arrange the castle. The castle arrived in perfect condition and on time. This was a concern for me since it was a birthday gift. I am extremely pleased with the company who sent it. Not sure there is any educational lesson in this toy, but my 19 month old really enjoys pushing the button to hear the cookie monster. He plays with it on average about 5 minutes at a time. Worth the money.
