Knight's Castle

My five year old son had many Schleich knights and soldiers, etc., so we finally got him the castle. He has had a lot of fun since receiving it for his 5th birthday. He and his 8 year old sister both enjoy playing with it. They also have used the castle as a home for some of their other toys as well (dinosaurs, dolls, plastic animals, etc.). They have gotten really creative in how they use and arrange the castle. The castle arrived in perfect condition and on time. This was a concern for me since it was a birthday gift. I am extremely pleased with the company who sent it. My daughter's grandparents were here from overseas and they set her loose in a toy store, returning with this carrying case and two other cc items for close to the price of a grocery bill. It's made of cardboard. No critters are included. You could have the fun of decorating a shoebox with your child and use that instead--no charge. Try a rubber band and voila! A latch.

Do we play with this? Sort of. When we play calico critters, she moves them into her Dora playhouse (picked up free at a thrift shop) and she moves MY family into this overpriced box for ME to use. Buyer beware!!

This is a wonderful toy for the child who really loves horses. My Grandaughter has had so much fun with it. I would recommend this to anyone who knows a child who loves horses and has a good imagination. thanks for getting it to us so quickly.

Fisher-Price® Backyardigans Bobblin' Big Top

My son loves the Backyardigans and really enjoys this toy. I thought that it would be similar to "Little People" and the spot where you place the characters would cause the music, etc. to play---The characters can be placed on the different circles and then spin when you move the knob. The button that causes music and various phrases to come out of the speaker is just to the left of the 3 circles in the front of the toy and just blends in with the green base. There are 2 songs (a circus one and a shortened version of the Backyardigans song) and then about 6 or 8 phrases said by various characters. It is a good toy for the price!

My three year old son begged me for this toy when he finally did his business on the potty. He absolutely loves it, and pretends to be Leo all day long, but it really needs a volume control!! The toy is way too loud, especially if we are in the car. He takes this toy with him everywhere, and I'm glad he's enjoying it, but it makes my head pound after a while.

I bought this for a 2-year old relative I baby-sit for. He is so enamoured with it its the first thing he looks for when he walks in the door, and his parents think its the best potato head they've seen. There is a regular size potato head, 2 babies, and the storage container itself is actually a potato head! There are tons of pieces so you can build different potatoes for hours.
