Hot Wheels T-Wrecks Playset

My 8-yr-old son and 5-yr-old daughter love this toy. They think it's very cool, how the t-rex eats the cars and then spits them out on the track. We haven't tried to move the set yet, but it doesn't seem that flimsy. It's really big, though, so be warned. Of course, that's part of what makes my kids love it.

Hot Wheels Monster Jam: Grave Digger (1:24)

My son is a big monster truck fan, and after seeing the Grave Digger in action, he wanted one to play with himself. We have another Hot Wheels 1:24 monster truck (Monster Mutt) and wanted another one that scale. The shocks on the truck are sturdy and for all the crashing and jumping my son has put this truck through, it is holding up very well. Plus, it's a good size for little hands (my son is 4 1/2) but not so large that it's hard for him to hang onto.

I wholeheartedly recommend this toy for any parent thinking about buying a monster truck for their child. An excellent purchase!

Carrera Go!!! NASCAR Electric Race Set

I purchased this product as a replacement to a Carrera Go! NASCAR set (battery operated) which I originally purchased as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old son. That set DID NOT WORK after we set it all up Christmas morning. I had a hard time locating a replacement because Carrera Go! sets at most retailers were out of stock. I finally found and bought this NASCAR electric set as a replacement, but .... the factory-sealed box is MISSING PIECES of track! Now a month after Christmas, I'm still working with Carerra's customer service dept to get this whole mess fixed. What a disappointment to a 7 year old!

BRIO Garage Play Set

This set is really colorful and fun to use. My 2 1/2 year old has the Brio tracks and loves to put these cars on it too. The gas station dome is double-sided. One side is the strore front (shown) and the other side is the inside of the office with a hanging coat and coffee carafe. Very cute beeping sound for the service vehicle (not annoying at all). I'm also glad the cars/trucks are made out of plastic because the painted wood comes off easily in the bath - yes bath. We take EVERYTHING into the bath. So far all toys have survived. The service vehicle cannot get into water because of the battery. These are excellent toys and have survived many tests. I will continue to purchase Brio and tracks.

I read the critical reviews before buying this product and I bought it anyway.

We received a gift card for my son's third birthday and this was what he really wanted...so this was what I bought.

I knew this travel case was designed to hold the take-a-long trains and not the larger wooden trains. And that is what we have.

But whoever designed this product is in my humble opinion an idiot.

Not only is it difficult for my three year old son to get the trains in and out, it is difficult for me, his forty year old mother, to get them in and out.

Thomas just barely fits in the top most opening. All of the trains have to placed inside in a "just so" manner.
