Purchased this race track for my son's 10th birthday. The Jeff Gordon car worked well the first time it was charged but never again. The Dale Jr. car never worked. We even changed the batteries thinking that charging the car the first time drained them. Not the case. The car just did not work. Wish we would have looked at the reviews on several websites before purchasing toy. Seems everyone else has had the same problem.

This is perfect as a first truck. Everything physically about this truck is great, the only problem I had was that the amazon description listed it as including WAY more blocks than I received with it. I then called to order a replacement and they sent me the same amount of blocks again! Luckily I hadn't sent the other box back yet, so I called to let customer service know that I was removing the appropriate amount of blocks from the first truck to add to the second truck. It seems as though they dont have an accurate description and it only made it more frustrating when the person on the phone barely spoke english. Played with constantly - for about a week. This was the second version as the first one broke out of the box. If the original hadn't been a gift and the disappoint so great on the loss of the first, wouldn't have done it.

I love the medium size construction legos. I knew when I saw this set that my son would absolutely love it. Unfortunately, the picture is a bit misleading. There is no trackhoe in the set. Only a truck, bulldozer, the rock thing, and the man with accessories. Even the box I recieved reflects the missing trackhoe. I probably would not have purchased it if I would have know that the set did not include what was advertised here.

I bought this garage for my son's first birthday. It was very easy to put together, but it is also very easy to take apart. It could have been designed a little better, so that the parts wouldn't come off the base so easily. It is fine if you don't pick it up too much. It has a volume control, so you can adjust the noise level, or even turn off all the sound effects. I am a bit disappointed with the size of the top floor of the garage. There is barely enough room to put all three cars on the top level. It is a nice toy, but I wish that I had bought the Fisher Price garage instead.

For the last few years at the big-box retailers, model railways have been stocked as a niche item or an occasional product with minimal interest. Sometimes only a few of them on an end-cap, like an afterthought.

With TrackMaster's Thomas Adventure collection all of this quickly changed.

For the last four days, I've been stuck model railroading with my eighteen month old son, Fox. I first purchased him the Sodor Adventure set, quickly assembled it with no trouble and became hooked.
