This is such a fun toy, especially for the price. My daughter loves building with the blocks, pushing the truck around, and taking out/putting in the blocks into the back of the truck, and she is only 19 mos old. GREAT TOY!!

It's awesome once you buy the batteries... i had one of these when i was a kid... and it plugged into the wall... this one has a battery pack that takes 4 D batteries... Let me go back to 1980 and get them... come on... who has these lying around?

But once you get the batteries... hours of mindless drunk racing fun!

Our three year old son received Mack from his uncle for his birthday. He loves it! He plays with it every day. He and his twin sister put Lightning McQueen in the back and pretend to wash him, brush his teeth and get him oil from the refrigerator. I liked that this 2008 model comes with Lightning McQueen instead of having to purchase him separately. I would agree with some of the reviews from the older model that the plastic does seem a little cheap and flimsy in some of the smaller parts. But, so far it has held up to daily play by two three year olds without breaking.

Matchbox Mega Rig Space Mission Building System

We Love this toy and have many of the other mega rigs because of this one! It was our first one - a treat for giving up diapers - and since then we have also purchased the sub, the rescue copter, the shark ship, the snow monster, and the other piece to the space shuttle that launches into space. My 3 year old son plays with these daily. He loves that the pieces are all interchangable and he can create tons of different vehicles. We have had NO problems with these toys - Unbelievable in itself! Would HIGHLY recomend these toys to any parent.

Hot Wheels V-Drop Super Velocity Track Set

My son picked this out. The permanent assembly was easy (5 minutes), and my son is able to take apart and put back together himself when done playing. He quickly tires of it when he uses the elevator (a bit slow for his taste), but he likes to drop the cars down manually. Overall, this Hot Wheels set is easy and stays together.

My 2 Year old really likes this set. the Jeap is cool as it has a harpoon that shoots and a removable animal cage. It is very sturdy and easy for him to use all the accessories. The figure that comes with also works on his rain-forest adventure set (the man has holes in the bottom of his shoes that fit into twist bases to make things move or happen).

We got this for our son's one-year birthday and he really enjoys it! It is really well made, simple, yet provides plenty for him to do. I really think he will like it through age 3 at least! Would recommend it as a gift for sure.
