We bought several of the generic wooden train sets from Target, we also have some Thomas train sets. These bulk pieces fit and work with both sets. Some conn

All the connections are ball-joint connections, and all the tracks are grooved on both sides, even for the straight tracks.

If your kid(s) love playing with train sets, these tracks are by far the best value for increasing your collection.

Disney Pixar Cars Dinoco Helicopter

My son is a major Cars collector. We bought this for him and he was delighted with it and then the blades snapped off and neither he nor we could get them back on properly. They go back on, but they won't seat properly so, you can't make the blades spin with the trigger. He still likes his helecopter, but I was annoyed that we had spent so much on a toy that popped apart in 3 minutes. Oh well. It's still a part of his beloved collection.

These trains are not compatible with the wooden set but are wonderfully portable, durable and much more reasonably priced than the wooden set. I can fit a huge set into a storage bin that slides under the bed rather than have trains taking over my house.

Mega Bloks Tow & Build Truck

This is such a fun toy, especially for the price. My daughter loves building with the blocks, pushing the truck around, and taking out/putting in the blocks into the back of the truck, and she is only 19 mos old. GREAT TOY!!

My son has had this item for over a year now and it's still in great shape. I, like the other reviewer, was a little put off by the plastic but even with my son's rough play it's still doing fine. This one is espeically great for the more advanced builders since you need two parallel tracks to run through the signal:)

It's awesome once you buy the batteries... i had one of these when i was a kid... and it plugged into the wall... this one has a battery pack that takes 4 D batteries... Let me go back to 1980 and get them... come on... who has these lying around?

But once you get the batteries... hours of mindless drunk racing fun!
