This VHS tape is blank...Back Street
Thumbs down on this seller. I am very dissatisfied. I have bought many used items through Amazon and always had very good results with other sellers. I wrote to the seller and did not get a response. I asked for details on returns and no response. I asked for a refund and no response. Do not purchase from this seller. I am still waiting for action to be taken to resolve this issue. I rate this BAD (no stars).
I hope Amazon can help me with this problem.

One comment, I'm not sure Harvey was imaginary, I know several people who swear they've seen him. Evidently he is a friend to rumpots. Stewart himself said people, usually men, looking a little down on their luck, asked him about Harvey for years!

Shirley Maclaine's willingness to risk ridicule with her candor is to be commended. She powerfully states what many people fear to speak of. This book inspired me and in fact, if the title had not been taken, may very well have been the title for "Blessings In The Mire." Because she is such a celebrity figure, Maclaine risked more than an average joe. By expressing her beliefs, she opened herself up to the skeptics, the critics, the hecklers. If for nothing else, Ms. Maclaine should be commended for her candor and bavery, but with this statement aside, the book stands on its own for being extremely thought provoking, for creating dialog between believers and skeptics, and for being an extremely well written volume. KUDOS to to Shirley Maclaine ... Read More:

"All That Heaven Allows" is a 1950s sudser that can be watched on a couple of levels. First and foremost is the entertainment value. Jane Wyman is so terrific playing widow Carrie Scott. Within the first twenty minutes of the movie, three different suitors move in on her. The most intriguing, and from the perfect 1950s standpoint, the most unconventional, is her landscaper, Ron Kirby. Ron is younger. Material wealth means nothing to him, preferring to spend his time with his trees, living Thoreau rather than just reading him. Carrie eventually gives in to temptation and the suburban milieu she skates over is in an uproar. Tongues wag, and her children are shamed: A gardener, Mom! Perish the thought! Let's get you a television instead! It's ... Read More:

I remember the thrill and chills from watching it as a 6 year old! I have waited all these years to watch this and hear the theme song. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Disney did it right. The picture, the sound, and the show was everything I remembered and then some. I am a 50 year old man who for a few hours was that young boy who was mesmerized by the "The Scarecrow."

DOLLS!!! What may have been at the time of release "shocking" dialogue is why Valley of the Dolls will live in infamy. "Well Broad-way doesn't go for booozze and pills." Helen Larson tells Neeley O'Hara at the start of their catfight in the powder room. Great fun to watch with your best Gay friends. Great extras included. Packaging is well done and comes with lobby cards.

If you love Jimmy Stewart, this is the movie for you. Jimmy Stewart portrayed Glenn Miller with style and grace. Love it!
The scenes with the service men is very special to my family as my father was in this film and can be clearly seen. When this movie was on TV when I was growing up, we always watched it no matter the time of day. Now we can watch it over and over and pause it to get a better look.

With those lines, Henry Manicini's song begins one of the finest romatic movies Hollywood ever produced. I have loved "Dear Heart" from my first viewing so many years ago on television, and I was so happy when it was first released on VHS. I actually sent letters asking the movie be saved. Now, it is about to be forgotten again, and that would be such a shame. I hope someone will rescue this most wonderful of movies and release it on DVD. I promise to be an ardent customer.
Why is the movie so special? - wonderful script, superb acting, careful direction, and, of course, Henry Mancini's haunting score.
Geraldine Page, perhaps one of the finest actresses to grace the stage or silver screen, shines as the loveable, sometimes whacky, and always genuinely beautiful ... Read More:

Though filmed during a time when the moral codes prevented even the slightest hint of inpropriety, Until They Sail dealt with quite a scandalous subject: emotional and sexual relationships which sprung willy-nilly during the stressful times of war. The movie captures all aspects of wartime lonliness: youngest sister Evelyn's harmless puppy crushes, middle sister Dee's passionate sexual flings, big sister Anne's unexpected heartfelt first love, and Barbara's recovery as a young widow in the arms of ever-gorgeous Paul Newman. But what makes this movie so worth watching isn't just the diversity of the stories but the ability to capture the raw emotions and truth felt by the characters. In one poignant scene by a lake, Newman's character forwarns Simmons that he has no aspirations ... Read More:

Very interesting true story of Audie Murphys life, how he grew up supporting his mother and siblings from the age of 12, signed up in the army after many rejections from the various services. He distinguished himself in battle with honours all the time with humility and bravery and consideration of his comrades. He educated himself through courses during his service. On early retirement from services to due injury he had to come to terms with the loss of a promising career. He made this movie of his life and then went on to make wonderful western movies. Audie Murphy is a legend
